Right. But look at the responses to his tweet. It does not help at all
Posted on 5/10/19 at 9:51 am to Crewz
I would even say that Fletch's tweet is far more informative and well said. Except for the whole "except" part.

More information isn't always a good thing.
Imagine a documentary that says nothing vs one that presents strongly on one side with no mention of the other, nuance, etc. Which is more dangerous?

Dangerous? We are talking about guys on TV that cover a game where people throw a rubber ball through a hoop, not the Syrian conflict.

its not fletch's, jake's, or your responsibility to make sure information given to fans is laid out in strictly ways that are beneficial to the organization. You're changing the narrative quickly on your criticism. The fact is, Fletch and Jake are probably not wrong at all (which you initially criticized their sources) and its bringing fans back down to earth that AD is still firmly entrenched in his bags are packed stance than opening up to the Griffin train.

Yeah - sports never has an emotional impact on people. My bad.

I hear what you’re saying and I’m kidding. I get bent out of shape all the time on here about said game.
But it’s Fletch. I learned long ago not to get bent out of shape about him.

Cool. I will drop it. I like Jake and respect the crap out of his grind.
To let you know where I am coming from with Fletch, he used to slurp me and then trade me false information for real info. He would ask me things about the CBA and then literally copy and paste my answers into his blog and offer no credit or even a thanks. He is a snake. He is worse than you think he is.

Thanks for sharing all of this.
I doubt that AD hearing about the plan in person would do anything in terms of changing his mind if he already knows what they are selling.
The Pels are selling hope and a vision moving forward but that is all that it is at this point and it would require AD to jump in under blind faith. And why should AD trust that it will be any different? This is a small market that has a history of losing and doing things the wrong way. David Griffin wouldn’t change my mind at all that it would be any different.
I also think AD wants to win now and Griffin May be selling long term vision which is not going to cut it with AD.

But is it big.surprising news that he hasn't changed his mind with no new information?
Playing Devil's Advocate, there is new information in that David Griffin is in charge and not Dell. I do not believe there has been anything from AD's camp since Griff said he wants AD back. Not unexpected considering they have not sat down, but initially the firing of Dell/hiring of Griff has not changed anything.
And I understand that they haven't met to discuss Griff's vision and thus it is not news until they do, but to claim this is the stupidest thing Fletch has ever reported is really underselling the idiocy of some of his previous tweets.

There’s also another thing that could be a benefit from this meeting, besides selling him on future good will.
Selling him on trade destinations once it’s apparent he’s not in.

I never said it was the stupidest :)
And texts and calls are one things. Griffin is coming with rocket launchers to the meeting

Yes. And more info will be had by the time of the meeting (draft lottery)
Again, there will be A LOT to report soon. Not now

They should play an escape the room game with him using your clues. When they open the door Raja Bell and Trajan Langdon are there for hugs.

and north korea the other day mentioned something about wanting nba players...
AD can be the endorsement guy of all of North Korea.

That needs to be the 2nd PowerPoint on the desktop.

Because I don't want followers! Why do you think I keep changing it?
