You can go several combinations if we want to trade Zion and make his dream happen. Send us back the other Duke guy Barrett, Brunson, Hart. or swich out Hart for OBI.

Nobody is trading an army for someone that barely plays.

The Knicks probably wouldn't even give us RJ for Zion dude.

Switch out you for Hart. How about that? How you gonna try to switch out Josh like that?

I would trade Zion to NY but for Mitchell Robinson, Grimes and/or Quickley and some picks. That seems like a more realistic trade for him now. Let him deal with the NY media and try pulling that BS on them.

Surely you jest. frick that weak trade. If Utah got all that for Gobert, I want twice that for Zion. Some Hershel Walker trade type , where it damn near cripples the other franchise with draft capital

If Zion wants us to be able to trade him he needs to come back for the playoffs, NOT get injured, and score like a beast. Then, and only then, will he be a trade piece. Right now he is just a slightly less fragile Greg Odin

goebert was 2 time dpoy.

zion had a nice finish to his rookie year but morant got rookie of the class year because Zion missed games.
zion had a nice start to 22 23 but pulled hammy and re injured it and not ready for win or go home.

goebert is benched for 7 v 8 game after his feelings were hurt by Anderson and they had to be held apart.

might get goebert for zion.

Well now I guess I understand all these "Trade Zion" threads. Who in their right mind would give us a blockbuster deal for a player who doesn't play?

This is the reason we can't trade him. We're going to get shite value and if he ever does get his shite together he'd be worth all of King Midas' silver

Plenty of desperate teams that want someone with his marketability. They’ll just chalk it up to the Pels organization being a shiteshow and losing yet another superstar we couldn’t manage. Might not get peak value like we did AD, but a team woukd give up a lot.

Yeah, because this Zion situation has been so great for our franchise's PR. I think we will agree to disagree. I don't see a trade for Zion returning us anything close to his max value

that's simply just not gonna happen... you can still get something for him, and it still can be good, but you aren't getting a king's ransom for Zion...

but at least you get something... if we hang on to him, and he's injured again next season and can't play but 30 games again, he has absolutely NO value and you ain't getting shite for him... that's why i'm solidly in the camp of trade him now... sure, there's a chance he stays healthy, balls out, and we are a great team b/c of it... but given his track record, and what we've ALL seen so far, there's no reason to think this will happen

exactly.... he's still young enough, and clearly talented enough, for some team to take him on and think they can keep him healthy...

i'm good letting it be some other team that worries about his weight and injury concerns

b/c there isn't one.... Max value Zion is invaluable... if he was playing, we wouldn't even be having this conversation... but he's not... so it's just time to cut bait and let him be someone else's problem, and get something you can work with, something that's at least more dependable as an asset, than Zion... b/c like i said, if he's missing a ton of time next season again, then he has no value whatsoever and we are truly fricked b/c then we really can't get off of him

RJ Barrett is an inefficient shot chucker. We already have one of those in CJ. Give me Quickley, Hart, and picks. IQ is low-key one of the best defenders in the league and would be the perfect 6th man/backup PG for this team.

It was a second option. Hey I’m not the one that traded Josh for CJ.

only if zion can get on the court is his max value restored. I would play him summer league to show him off.

Bump. I see I got lots of hate for this idea days ago. Have you changed your mind now?
