our draft war chest is the most stacked I think I have ever seen for a NBA franchise.

Griff needs to start working on some draft trades because we have more picks than available spots.

Thunder too. Read somewhere they have something like 17 first round picks in next 10 drafts.

I’m guessing (hoping) there is a stud in the draft this year that Griffin is going to make a package deal to get with multiple picks. Or else you are right

We are bound to hit on a player if we draft the whole draft, right?

Yeah, Bucks picks when Giannis bails.

The last two weeks have been filled with chatter that Giannis Antetokounmpo indeed plans to sign his five-year supermax with the Bucks before the Dec. 21 deadline to do so ... The Bucks just made a trade that suggests they must believe it

This whole build for 2025-2030 strategy is bold ... maybe Griff is trying to move up in the draft this year to get someone he likes?

The mans gonna have a war chest built for when it’s time for Zion to decide to leave. At least we will be trading from a position of strength and not desperation like the Bucks and Lakers.

The future picks will be interesting as I saw this about the 2022 pick-

quote:

2022 first round draft pick to Cleveland
Milwaukee's 1st round pick to Cleveland protected for selections 1-10 in 2022, 1-10 and 25-30 in 2023 and 1-8 in 2024; if Milwaukee has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Cleveland by 2024, then Milwaukee will instead convey its 2024 2nd round pick and 2025 2nd round pick to Cleveland [Cleveland-Milwaukee-Washington, 12/7/2018]

LINK

Would seem to indicate Milwaukee cannot trade 2022-2024 picks

Griff made this deal knowing full well this would happen. The Bucks would have never made the deal if it wasn’t the case. We got a haul because the Bucks were desperate. We now have solid ammunition to make a deal for a big time player when the right one find his way on the block.

One of the three firsts Milwaukee is sending New Orleans in the Jrue Holiday trade is the Bucks’ first-rounder in Wednesday’s draft (number 24 overall), per league sources. The Pelicans already have the 13th overall pick in the first round.

One of the picks is in this year's draft which is #24 overall. Going to be a lot of good value there in this draft.

Meh, would have preferred a future pick instead (or DiVincenzo would have been nice instead :) ).
