True, but we’re missing a stretch big, a primary ball handler of the future, and possibly a wing defender.

We already have NAW as the spark off the bench. We need more shooters and bigs that can shoot and defend to surround around Zion and Ingram.

I don’t think NAW qualifies as a spark lol

Maxey would be a great fit on this team

Was thinking could this be expanded?

Bledsoe undoubtedly wants to go to a winner/contender

Harrell seems like a good fit if we can nab him and probably can get him cheaper based on his recent bubble play

Beverley, Harrell in a S&T, Hill, picks to us
Jrue, 60, and a another second from Clips
Bledsoe to Clips?

Beverley becomes redundant in LA with Bledsoe so this could be beneficial to all IMO

Beverley - Hill - Flynn
Ball - Redick - NAW
Ingram - Hart - Bey
Zion - Melli - Kenrich
Harrell - Hayes - Tillman

Hill - Hart - Ingram - Melli - Zion close games

Also Rondo supposedly wants to go to Clips so Beverley becomes even more redundant there. Could fit the defensive piece we need under SVG.

Any evidence that Bledsoe doesn’t want to be here or is this just your own speculation?

In NAWs case the skillset is there, he just needs to put it together and produce. When he shows that he can play well consistently, I’m sure the mentality of this fan base will change. We absolutely cannot go into the season with the mindset that NAW is ready to produce with any consistency. That’s how bad teams think.

No I haven't given up.

I just think people overrate the shite out of him
He is young and immature

He has a long way to go in his basketball career.
I just think he is extremely young as a player. Same way hayes is young

Harrell is not a good fit as he couldn't be on the floor with Zion, and if you're gonna spend that money on a big, they have to be at least decent on defense

Pelicans and Bucks could finalize and announce the Jrue Holiday trade under the 2020 cap. However, then the Pelicans couldn't aggregate Bledsoe or Hill's contract in a second deal for a little bit.

That they haven't finalized tells me the Pelicans are working on a 3rd team.

Deal is not yet finalized

Windhorst on his latest pod: “I do think {Griffin} likes Bledsoe. I don’t think he’ll keep both Hill and Bledsoe. I think there’s a market for George Hill.”

BW also says Holiday had freedom to talk with teams about extending. Open to it with Bucks. There were teams he wouldn’t.

It's probably on his latest podcast, but I must have not been paying attention when he said that about Bledsoe and Hill. Windhorst's talked about the Pels situation like he didn't have current inside info, in fact at one point he said something along the lines of "Griff will tell me about that later" with regards to some details on the Jrue trade. So if he does think Griff likes Bledsoe it's based on things he said previously, not after he was traded to the Pels.

That's good to hear. If he helps us improve either 13 or 24, that would be a win to me. I would imagine the teams that want him are teams competing for a championship so Boston, Philly, Brooklyn, Miami, Dallas, maybe Toronto would be interested in throwing a 1st for him.

Here's a scenario: Hill goes to Dallas for #18 and some filler salary for a guy with 2 years left. This helps Dallas get closer to having a max next offseason. We use #13, #18, #42, to get to #9 from Washington. They can use 42 with their 37 to move up a bit if they'd like. Dallas at 31 would go for that.
Then we use #24 and #39, as well our cle/wash 2nds next year to get to #17 from Minny.
So now we are sitting with #9 and #17.

One can dream.
