It was posted in one of the other various threads, but he’s working under the assumption that the trade is done, but I doubt that it’s been turned into the NBA already, therefore if we wanted to flip Bledsoe or Hill, we could just make the trade a 3 way deal.

I'm also just looking at the list and not seeing a ton of upgrade paths. At least not ones that if you are objective are marked improvements or fit within that budget. I too would not be shocked seeing Favors back here.

Of course I also really like either Jalen Smith potentially falling to 24 or Daniel Oturo in the second round. Willing to move up to get him. Both project as stretch rim-protecting, good rebounding big men with the speed to get up and down the court.

From Woj's story on the trade:

And the twitter link to that trade said "The Bucks are finalizing a deal to acquire Jrue Holiday". I don't think we'd see language stronger than "agreed to a trade" if this was something they were holding up for other potential pieces.

Griff probably wanted to take the picks and run before they changed their mind after everyone told them they got robbed.

I know he needs to put on weight, but I’m not sure why Jalen Smith isn’t projected as a lottery pick. His jump shot looks better than a lot of the guard/wing prospects in the draft.

Getting ikaka would be huge for the pels

Having someone who can shoot is what the pels need

Possibly, I haven’t seen it as official anywhere yet though. The Paul/Phoenix trade is official. The Lakers trade still is not.

ETA: I guess my point was that if he got Bledsoe and Hill to flip immediately he would’ve probably just tried to work that into the deal.

He seems to have only been falling recently in mocks/rankings as well. And I also don't get it? Analyst overcorrection about big men?

I once was seeing him as high as 10ish and am now consistently seeing him in the late teens to twenties.

Would be ecstatic to see him fall to 24.

We see trades expand all the time it just depends on if they left it open to do so or not.

If you believe “Crewz”, supposedly we like Tyrese Haliburton and Patrick Williams. And Bey and Maxey at 13.

I could see that being true. All those guys have high character and types of people you want that’ll fit Griffs culture. Especially the first 3. Idk as much about Maxey and his character

Lack of fluidity and stiff hips limited his potential as a switch defender and on the perimeter. Poor frame limits his ability to put on mass considering he’s 224 pounds right now. Doesn’t see the court well and isn’t a good passer.

He’s rated where he should be rated. Late lottery to mid 1st round pick. While he has good athleticism, it’s not elite. If he had elite athleticism he would be a bonafide lotto pick.

Supposedly Maxey has great energy and character in his interviews.

I’ve been on the Bey train at 13. He’s a perfect fit for us off the bench in my opinion.

I’m kinda hoping for Haliburton. But I’d honestly be happy with any of those guys. We do need that big wing defender

Bey, Vassell, and Nesmith are all players I would be happy with at 13 tbh.

None are going to be all-stars, but all should stick around the league for a good while as 3 and D wing specialists. Bey and Vassell are more polished defensively(though Nesmith says he is determined to be a defender that can guard 1 through 5 eventually, and I love that attitude), but Nesmith just has all the perimeter shooting skills you look for in an off-ball wing offensively.

Same here. I hope somehow Jalen Smith falls to us with our second 1st. Although I think BPA with that pick is the best thing.

I would think they could expand the Bucks trade (like we did with Lakers trade last year).

think George Hill can come and be our starting 2. Good defender, shoots the lights out, low usage, can facilitate. Jrue is the better player, Hill may be the better fit to the Pels starting line up.

Zo/ Bledsoe
Hill/ JJ/ NAW
Ingram/ Hart
Zion/ Meli
Center/ Hayes

I’d like to maybe Bey at 13. Y’all have to remember that this is not a great draft. You can’t get too caught up into these prospects. The Pels don’t have to trade up. They’ll do it if the deal fits, it’s not like it’s a must thing to do. I can see 13 and 24 being package together if someone the Pels like starts to fall to like 9 or 10. Next year, will be the year you wanna make crazy trades to move up in the draft, not this year.

Would not mind Maxey. I kind of like him as a potential spark plug off the bench.

We already have NAW as the spark off the bench. We need more shooters and bigs that can shoot and defend to surround around Zion and Ingram.
