call me cynical. I don't see the Pels paying him 11MM all those years.

So is the pick "lottery protected" or "top 3 protected"?? that's a HUGE difference.

If it's "lottery protected, I can live w/ this trade. If it's only top 3 protected, I think we just got JeffBowered

And if its lotto protected I feel better.

why?

if we get a top 3 pick, we keep it and they get a later 1st rounder at some point. if we don't get a top 3 pick, i'm not really upset

Giving up an elite big and a 1st rounder that is likely a lotto pick for Jrue and a 2nd this year is great?

LOL

We just got a 23 year old all star point guard, on a long term deal for a MAYBE draft pick next year.

lol no

People on here put so much into potential. We just got an all star PG for a risky big and a 1st great fricking deal. This is like trading 2006 Chris Paul for two picks.

With Jrue and a healthy Gordon, who doesn't get traded, the 2014 pick will be outside the top 10 so I'm not too worried about that.

The Pels won't be in the lottery next year anyways so I don't know what these immature college geeks are crying about.

I don't think many people on this board realize how good Jrue is.

And how much better we just got in the short term.
