I’m dreading Mark Jackson in the 2nd round. Dude is so damn salty about Erman.

Any chance Joel takes over for Jim Henderson? I haven't followed the situation much, but I've seen his name mentioned. I'd prefer to keep him on the Pels side, but I figure be would likely be a leading candidate, if interested.

That's typically him pointing out a miss before it happens. He also has a penchant for calling a bucket on the way up. Joel is the GOAT

I love Joel Meyers and DW for that matter, They are really good together.
I love how every missed shot by our opponent gets a "That's a break" from him

I love how he draws out that "and".

Man, I’d hate to see the Pels lose him, but I’d absolutely love it as a Saints fan. Maybe the Saints have been waiting for the Pels’ season to end to announce a replacement... hmmm

listened to the local guys every game instead of national crew. Sucks they cant do round 2.

Radio crew isn't bad with Sean Kelley and John DeShazier. A lot of folks in or around NOLA don't like DeShazier as a writer but whatever.

He and DW are very good together. I love having them. I also really love watching a game with Hubie Brown. His basketball knowledge blows me away. He will call out plays before they happen. He also does a good job explaining things that are happening that you don't even notice or realize.

Joel and Carol’s “regular seats” are next to mine. They’re two of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet.

Don't break up the band Gayle hahaha

I love it when he started saying "unbelievable" towards the end of the season when we started kicking arse. And all of the alley oop calls. And basically anything he says.

I'll never forget his first broadcast. He could barely speak coherently but he's great now.

Just looked at Wiki to see how long he's been on the broadcast. Never knew this:
quote:

David Wesley was charged in 2000 with misdemeanor reckless driving in the crash that killed his friend and teammate Bobby Phills. A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police report said Phills and Wesley were speeding at more than 100 mph (160 km/h) when Phills lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a car. The report said both Phills and Wesley were driving "in an erratic, reckless, careless, negligent and/or aggressive manner", and the men were "involved in a speed competition".[7] In a non-jury trial, a judge acquitted Wesley of the charge of racing Phills.[8]

On the other end it could be a 6 point game with 49 seconds to go and Joel will be like, “That’ll do it”.

“Don’t walk away”., referring to leaving the shooter.
