Williams is awesome.

Between Shai, Giddey, Jalen, Chet, and all of their picks, OKC is really in a great spot moving forward.

Individual offense > individual defense in todays league. We better draft a scorer this year

I believe this is all overblown. They basically have no extra 1sts the next two years. They have already won 30 games, so it's unlikely they are in the top 5. They have some higher paid guys and aren't going to have a max slot going into FA. Not a ton of ways to improve next year unless Holmgren is a star and I think he's going to be more fragile than Zion.

All those years of tanking and this is what they ended up with. It's a cautionary tale to me..

They have 4 1sts over the next 2 years.

They also have 5 1sts the 2 years after that
They can easily match $25mil or more and a shite ton of picks for a good player in the offseason.

A legit star, 2 solid young prospects and a billion draft picks? Sign the Pels up for that "cautionary tale" the next time we have to rebuild, please.

No they don't. They have a swap this year (they won't use). They have 3 extra in 2023, maybe one will convey and it will be late 1st.

They haven't added a FA in many years. Doesn't seem like they would go out to find anyone. All internal growth.

We will see. I can't see building a championship team around SGA or Holmgren. They seem more like complimentary pieces to me. They have some nice players though. I just don't think it's a group that scare anyone.

The thing about Williams is he's a solid defender as well, at least for a rookie. He projects to be super solid on both ends, but a bit better offensively.

Yep...but I just can't shake this crazy notion that there are players out there that can play BOTH above-average offense AND defense consistently. Seems like every serious contending team I see out there has a couple of these guys that actually play very well, on both ends of the floor. JMO...The Pels have a grand total of ZERO players...that fit that description.

And btw Mr Man...I watched Mikal Bridges light things up AGAIN last night. Got 33 points while going 9-9 in the 1st quarter.

I have been told..."Idk what universe you're living in Dinky, but theres about a 0.0000002% chance that Bridges will ever be on the level of Brandon Ingram offensively."

The Bridges' boat might have sailed already...but I think it's time the Pels looked for 2-way players...every other contending team seems to be able to find them...why can't we?

You can add players in the offseason that is also not via free agency.

It's not that difficult. I see them having maybe an extra late 1st over the next two seasons. That's it.

Sure. I'm sure there will be moves and trades on the fringes. But that's not going to move the needle for them. Plus they are running into the same issue we are with too many players.

I see them sitting on their warchest too long. They kept trying to gain a couple of Superstars and I don't see one.

Zion is a 4 year + injury bust and the #4 pick was completely wasted by Griffin.
