As much as I hate to say this, but I agree. He has been a complete shite show. From constantly being injured and overweight, lying and keeping secret about his bubble injury, his nightmare "team" to deal with, and now reports of him skipping rehab workouts, frick that guy. I am in no way taking up for Griffin, but Zion sounds like a complete shite show and an absolute headache to deal with. An impossible task.

Yeah, no. His value is pretty goddamn low now, for him at least. Unless you think the foot injury is career ending, then you hold on.

It doesn't really matter, he will probably only agree to be traded to one team and he will get what he wants lol

Which is exactly why the Pels can't give up an ounce of control/leverage and need to extend him if they don't think this injury is career ending.

He goes to New York on our terms, not CAAs. Then you get CAA to beat the Knicks into giving you everything they have like Klutch did with the Lakers.

I still am very much against giving up assets for short term fixes, but if you can make trades for players that help today and fit long term you should do it. Making the Play In without Zion would give the Pels leverage if the CAA play is to threaten sitting out.

For me its sort of a waiting game for the Knicks. They really aren't good enough to be more than a 1st or 2nd round team, and they aren't getting a superstar anytime soon I don't think.

Forget Lowry and Dinwiddle, Chris Paul was the most unfortunate non-signing of the offseason.

I dont get why the Pels get knocked for this? He was never coming here, we had absolutely no shot at getting him. You might as well be mad that Kawhi Leonard didnt sign here, because we had the same shot at signing him as we did Paul... 0%. I dont get why people think we had a shot.

I agree; he really means non-American player.

The face of the Dallas Mavericks over the last twenty years has been Dirk Nowitzki (Germany) and Luca Doncic (Slovenia). The Big Three of the recent San Antonio Dynasty were Tim Duncan (Virgin Isles), Manu Ginobli (Argentina), and Tony Parker (Belgium).

The leader of the Houston Rocket Championship years was Hakeem Olajuwan (Nigeria) and he was followed by the respectable stint of the oft-injurred, Yao Minh (China). Three of the main components of the current Utah Jazz come from abroad - Rudy Gobert (France), Bojan Bogdanovic (Bosnia), and Joe Ingles (Austrailia).

The Denver Nuggets are led by reigning League MVP Nikola Jokic (Serbia). Philadelphia is being built around Joel Embiid (Cameroon) with help from Ben Simmons (Austrailia) until not so long ago, Remember the days when Patrick Ewing (Bahamas) at least had the Knicks respectable.

The reigning NBA Champion is led by two time League MVP, the 'Greek Freak', Giannis Antetokounmpo.

I'm ready to buy foreign. Collectively, they offer much, much more loyalty with much, much less maintenance required.

It’s getting real hard to justify Zion

We get knocked because Griff should have read the room and went after more realistic options from the start instead of treating them like fall back options. Maybe Dinwiddie comes if you put the full court press on him instead of striking out on Lowry, Paul and Conley then going to Dinwiddie.

You should have let Griff know this.

He got pissy with me on twitter when I suggested before the start of the season that some of the fault may be on Zion and not all on Griff and it sounds like he's finally getting it

330 and gaining more every day. Fat Slob will be 375-400 within 4 - 6 months. And his career will be over for good after he eats his way through the tens and tens of millions he has already been given

Jake isn't getting inside scoop from team officials.

What happens is people tell stuff to beat reporters like Christian Clark, Will Guillory, and Andrew Lopez. When those guys hear stuff that they think is true, but which they can't corroborate, they feed it to a guy like Jake and let him report it.

I trust Jake as much on this as I trusted him with the piano story, which is not at all, because he's basically just spreading a rumor for clicks. I feel very confident that he didn't get this straight from an actual team official who was at the workout that Zion supposedly skipped.

Except that he's nowhere near 300 now, so there's that.

So the guy that pretty much nobody on here wanted? Got it.

We %100 percent didnt put the full court press on Paul.

Im talking to the board, not Griff. Its the board that complains about not getting Paul, which like I said, makes no sense.

Outside of extracting more from the Bulls for Lonzo Ball, the Pels last offseason seemed very good to me.

Val, Graham, Murphy, and Herb look like good to great additions to the roster. If Zion was healthy the team looks like it would be easily competing in the West.

This is a pic from probably about a week ago now.

Andrew Lopez who sees him regularly said he looks like he's back down to his playing weight from last year.

Do you just post false info just to see yourself post? Clearly you do not work in facts.
