You think people in here dream about the Pelicans? You are delusional. I said that if we weren't chasing playoffs then we should try trading Tjones to a possibly desperate Cleveland team in a unique situation with a hurt Love and an owner not wanting to go too far into the tax. You said they have no assets. I name assets and you say CLE won't give that up. I list reasons why CLE may give that up and you respond with your stale "you guys keep your hope" deflection.

Terrance Jones has played decent this year but he is the most replaceable type of player that there is in the league. The fact that our FO would consider giving TJones anymore than the type of contract that Cunningham got a couple years ago. Shows how they have no idea about how to manage the supply and demand of certain types of players around the league.
We should be taking whatever 2nd rounder we can get for Jones right now.

The Pels future outlook is very depressing ...we need a trade to distract for a couple weeks even though we will inevitably look back realize it was a dumb move...dell still have a job is embarrassing.

Crewz, what are your thoughts on percentage chance anything of note goes on before the deadline this year (for the Pels)?

Yeah, Okafor himself is not a prize, if he weren't still on a rookie deal I'd want no part of him. The trade option that made me most excited was Holiday for Okafor and a 1st. That would fire up the tank and build a package that the Bulls would probably take for Butler assuming we can turn our pick into a top 3 pick.
I'm not saying Boston couldn't still outbid us, but instead of just our own pick and Buddy and Diallo, we'd have an additional top 10 2017 first and Okafor to throw into the mix. If you have Butler and AD and cap space you should be able to attract enough quality FAs to build a good team.
