Westbrook's athleticism is explosive. Ja can be explosive at times, but Russ is like that all game.

I think he's one step below Russ and in the same category as Lillard & DeAaron Fox in terms of athleticism. In fact, I think DeAaron Fox is a really good NBA comparison for Ja.

I can't wait for us to trade the rights to Ja to get Jrue.

Zion and Ja are 1a/1b

I do like Barrett 3rd. I think he has a really solid floor.

Not a fan of Reddish, though he probably goes top 5.

Others I like:

Clarke - he is being slept on frickin big time. He’s a smart player, plays to his strengths similar to Zion. He is having one of the most efficient seasons in NCAA history. The only player ahead of him in that category is Zion.

Culver I like quite a bit as well.

I prefer Ja over Zion by a wide margin.

Fit wise, no doubt.

Hypothetically we get 2nd pick or maybe even 3rd. Trade with Boston for Tatum + Smart + Kings pick + Clippers pick. If it’s the 3rd pick, package that plus the Kings and Clippers pick to move up. That might not be enough.

Morant
Holiday
Tatum
Randle

I don't think there are many outside of Zion & Ja that will be super impactful.

I think Darius Garland, DeAndre Hunter, Culver, Coby White, maybe the Clarke kid can/will be above average starters in the NBA. Beyond that idk.

Barrett and the kid from France have very high ceilings, but I think Barrett has a pretty low floor too. I see him as a Melo-like black hole that can't shoot like Melo.

I mean you should see how much these mock drafts fluctuate. I remember seeing the kid from USC Kevin Porter as a lottery pick not but 2 months ago, and now I'm seeing him second to last in the first round. Jaxson Hayes I saw last week projected going 8th overall, today going at 22nd pick.

Might not be a popular opinion but i think Herro is going to be legit in the league. Has a lot of Devin Booker in his game.

Obviously I've love for us to hit top 2 to get Ja on our own and then trade for more, but man, even if not, Ja + Knox is not a bad haul at all

worst case is that PHX or CLE and CHI go 1-2 in either order
if one of those gets 1 and NYK gets 2 I think they’ll trade it for davis

I’m not good at probabilities but I’d be interested in what NYKs odds are for getting a top 2 pick...is it still 14%?

none of PHX, CLE or CHI are trading a top 2 pick...is the chance NYK gets in there 25%?

But is that better than a Holiday, Tatum, Brown/Smart/Hayward core?

This Fletcher Magee cat from Wofford is legit. Same size as Reddick and shoots just like him. The mocks have him as a late 2nd. Wonder what his draft stock would look like if he was doing this at Duke?

He just broke the ncaa record for most 3s made in a career. Reddick is 3rd.
