We are waiting for the Bucks season to end. It has to be!

Didn’t their other assistant just get hired by the Celtics even though the Bucks are still playing?

I hope it is Charles Lee and I hope we don’t have to wait until after the postseason.

Griff and Co dragged their asses last offseason and it didn’t end well. We ended up with a guy nobody else even cared to interview.

udoka is with the Nets who were already eliminated when they hired him. We’ve officially hired guys who were still in the playoffs so that shouldn’t matter (Gentry)

Im really hoping for Chauncey Billups bit its not looking that way. I really want some new blood not a coach who’s already shown that they aren’t the answer. I think Billups is a guy who our players will respect and listen to because he knows what it takes to win in this league. But I think the Blazers gonna grab him. Sam Cassell’s name always pop up be he’s never really given a chance. We have a young team we need a coach who can lead us.

Whoops that was kind of a misfire on my end. My bad, thanks for clearing it up.

Well Lee would be the definition of new blood. He’s 36 and never been a HC.

Tiger, I appreciate your optimism, and here is looking for the best.

Griff and company, in my opinion, did a very good job with getting Hayes and Alexander, but he failed miserably with SVG, Bledsoe, and Adams. His track record of choosing Anthony Bennet for the first overall pick in the 2013 draft also causes me to have doubts on his decision making abilities.

I would like Billups but he’s only got one year on the bench coaching so I would think Charles Lee would have the edge with Griff since he’s had more experience.

Alvin Gentry was hired during the NBA finals. This wouldn’t be a hold up.

It would be if the person being hired asked to keep everything confidential until their season is over so as to ensure there are no distractions in what will likely be a title run for Milwaukee.

The longer it takes the less likely that Vaughn gets hired and I starting to feel like his name is only being rumored as a favor from his buddy Trajon Langdon. If we really wanted Vaughn and he's not getting interest from other teams, why haven't we hired him?

mmk bruh. I’m sure the players finding out they won’t have Charles Lee 6 months from now would be too much for them to overcome. Giannis and Jrue would probably crumble upon hearing such news. I mean, you can’t replace a Charles Lee and definitely can’t hear of news of him not being there when they start practicing next season. Oh my, Atlanta would add this info into their trash talk to get into their heads. Think of what they would whisper while Giannis is shooting free throws. Trae’s taunts to the Bucks bench would be cutting too deep if he had this info.

My bad bruh.

Yeah, Lee has been Bud's right hand for 7 years now, there's far more to it than a distraction to the players, it's also a distraction to the fans, the coach, everyone.

They also could be trying to lock down assistants. You’re not hiring a head coach you’re hopefully hiring the top 2-3 coaches. Maybe Vaughn/Lee aren’t as attractive if their top assistant choices fall through.

It's very normal for coaches to wait until the season ends to announce they're leaving. Not sure why you're acting like that's such a crazy idea
