He was dominate on both sides of the court. Definitely a signature game for Holiday.

The amount of defense Jrue plays every night is enough for 15 teams

Favors looks to be completely healthy and in game shape now. This is the best he’s looked in terms of mobility and explosiveness. He’s covered a lot of gound on defense tonight.

And Jrue looked good at PG/primary ball handler/whatever you want to call it. I was a fan of playing him off ball, but if he can be the primary ball handler, that may be best for the team as constructed.

I agree. I find that Holiday is able to get into a rhythm if he dominates the ball the entire game. It’s easier for him to pick his spots when he’s the PG the entire way. Teams tend be on their toes when Holiday dominates the ball and it opens things up for the rest of the team when he can pressure the opposing defenses.
