Garrett Temple also apparently was on a podcast and said that Ingram was actually going to be traded to another team but he turned it down(I assume by refusing to sign an extension) Have to think that team was Atlanta and they were offering more

Makes since, players run the league and basically hold most if not all of the leverage. Even losers like BI

But people want to defend Zion and keep him. He’s not worth the hassle in the future and I’m tired of the assumption that he will finally mature and grow up.

Zion is a waste of space

I wish more players told the truth about him

Garrett said it was recent trade and he picked Toronto although Atlanta would give him more.

lol didn’t BI miss 2 months cause he got slapped in the face?

Slap is putting it harshly. That was a love tap.

Sat out for months because he stubbed his toe and was back perfectly healthy but continued to sit out because he wasn't mentally ready.

Such a lame thing to say especially given how Zion was pretty complimentary of him.

There is certainly some things the team could trash him for.

I was at that game. It wasn't a love tap. He got hit pretty flush by naji and had a diagnosed concussion. The crowd audibly groaned on the replay.

I was at that game and recall it much differently. I remember those in my section questioning why he was going to the locker room and then laughing when they saw on twitter that he was listed as out.

Did Garrett specifically say Atlanta? IIRC, BI only wanted to be traded to Atlanta or Toronto.

It was a love tap. I watched the replay probably 10 times. Sure the crowd groaned, it's what crowds do. I'm sure there is a video of it somewhere. He was put in concussion protocol so he was obviously going to have to miss a certain amount of games regardless but he, in normal BI fashion, stretched it out longer than the normal timeframe.

Shitting on dude’s for brain injuries from 2-3 years ago, is much more of a pussy behavior than sitting out due to a brain injury. Not surprised you and Noshau dude are the main 2 ringleaders shitting on this in the thread.

Ringleader? I made one post about reactions from those around me during the game I attended. As usual, you are just trying to stir shite.

You actually should be surprised because I was one of BI's biggest defenders. He was one of my all time favorite Pels. I was shitting on him because he was trying to shite on an ex teammate for doing stuff that personified his time here. Like that dude has any room to speak.

More he had a choice at the deadline and chose Toronto. If so, props to Pels.

You are the one that started some shite w me on this board. I didn’t know you existed before you @ me crying and insulting me about one of my takes/jokes

That’s neither here nor there, but that’s where my shite originated with you.

In terms of Ingram, I’ve always had a tendency to be a bit more understanding with the dude’s injuries because before he got here, he had career/borderline life threatening blood clots that originated from rehabbing a certain way from a shoulder injury. This isn’t a dude that gets injured bc he’s fat or takes a long time to rehab bc he is lazy. He is literally trying to avoid getting a 2nd batch of blood clots that would potentially cause the end of his career.

In addition, as someone that has suffered a variety of concussions while playing sports, I do have sympathy and empathy for those players that suffer head injuries. Not every head injury is the same and not everyone reacts the same to it.

You’ve got to be a grade A shithead to hate on any type of brain injury. That is my stance on that. And I’m not budging from it.

I get that he isn’t on the team anymore and he’s potentially taking shots at Z.

I think Z probably deserves those shots and more. I’m not going to turn on BI bc he’s not on the team anymore and Z still is. Z has been a certified shithead and disrespected his team and city for a majority of 6 seasons. Hence, I’m not quite willing to go to battle for him yet in a war against veiled comments from Ingram that don’t even specifically name Zion.

I don’t think he’s a horrible dude or anything. He’s just a horrible dude/player to be the marquee name of your franchise. CP3, AD and even Baron Davis handled that responsibility better than Z has at this point.

If a concussion is getting “slapped inthe face” then maybe so.

This is kind of a shitty thing to say about Zion (most assuredly) after Zion went out of his way to be complimentary and supportive of him after the trade.

You're still falling for Zion's Aw Shucks routine after 6 years?
