I love the Mardi Gras uniform

They should be our permanent colors. Would actually be something identifiable to the area.
And with the team about to get a lot better, with a lot more exposure, there's a chance to sell a bunch of Pels/Zion merchandise in Mardi Gras colors. Similar to how the Cavs put out about 50 different jerseys when Lebron was there because they knew they all sold like crazy.

Nah man, January 6th, the start of carnival. Wear them until Ash Wednesday. And the pelicans should never play on lundi gras, Mardi Gras, or Ash Wednesday.

Yeah there we go. I didn’t know the exact day but don’t wait until the city jersey time. Maybe make the red the main jersey and have this as the alternate.

I love the Red jerseys so much. MG Jersey is my number 2. Mardi Gras starts on epiphany, the start of king cake seasons, the day you are supposed to take down your Christmas tree.

The colors aren't the problem. It is the horrible design. The white and navy blue jerseys are embarrassing. They look like local rec league jerseys.

The official color scheme will likely stay the same. If you remember, everything about the re-branding received a lot of thought and scrutiny. I do dig the Mardi Gras togs, however

We should scrap our home whites all together. Move to our earned jersey from last year as our main white jersey and wear the mardi gras during the season.

Pretty much just mardi gras design but with normal pelicans colors. I still want to wear the mardi gras jerseys a lot, so imo the earned should just replace the white jerseys we have

the blue/gold/red city jerseys should be the home whites.

It's by far the best MG uniform we've ever had. I can't properly convey how much I hated the old green abominations from about 5 years ago.

It is annoying that MSG or Gayle or whoever can’t get their shyte together when it comes to making our venues accurately reflect the teams that play there.
The Saints deserve filled-in endzones (shoutout SirWinston) that say “NEW ORLEANS” on one side and “SAINTS” with a fleur-de-lis on the other. And the Saints “Shield” logo should be the midfield logo.
The Pels regular home court should have the NOLA skyline superimposed instead of just the Pelican logo. And we should absolutely come up with a Mardi Gras colors-themed court that could have images of Carnival superimposed on it.
It’s all about branding the teams and their venues to the city to create that identity that fosters pride in the fan base and conjours up images of magical nights in NOLA for would-be visitors.
I swear I could do a 1000% better job than whoever is making on field/court decisions for the teams right now.
