So, my trade involves Jrue, Asik or Anjinca, a first rounder and possibly a 2nd rounder. Do I give up another 1st or Diallo? Only if the deal mandates the Cavs taking Asik AND Solo off the books and includes Korver and Shumpert and/or C. Frye, at least.

knighting for Demarcus cousins and bringing up all these "defecienices" of Irving is rich

no one wants to hear it, but Cousins has got some serious baggage. we have to hope things change in NO, but that doesnt mean you go in blind. every Pels should read Arnovitz on Cousins from January

When this front office breaks down a Cousins game, it invariably finds half a dozen possessions per game when he sabotages the Kings. Sometimes it's not getting back on defense because he has overdramatized a fall on a drive. Sometimes it's an ill-advised shot early in the possession whose only explanation is acting out against a noncall or an incorrect call. Sometimes it's a missed opportunity for a teammate because Cousins has clearly broken off a play.

It's reasonably assured he's a good-hearted person who has manageable behavioral issues that fall within the bounds of the normal human experience. But it's not sure it wants to pay the Cousins tax -- that 6 or 7 percent of possessions that not only take a team out of its offensive or defensive rhythm but whose negative outcomes can crush its collective spirit

Read last piece of Bontemps at WashingtonPost.
Now when Wall agreed to stay in WAS he is supposed to pursue his friend DMC to come to WAS.

Right now we now only about some WAS interest.
But because of the salaries it probably be S&T with Porter.

Probably more to come...

To be clear. All those options might be possible in 2018.

It is the first insight about eventual Wall-DMC pairing.
Bontemps is respected person but for now it is pure speculation.

yep. and i think we are going to see plenty more of these articles throughout the year. every fan base and every writer for those fan bases dreams of their team acquiring the best players. the second we start to see anything that looks like discourse (even if there is none) we will see a flood of articles of Boogie signing elsewhere and AD trade articles to follow.

Its going to be a stressful and aggravating year

And AD/DC working will shut them up. If it doesn't work it will be a good thing that other teams want him to drive up the price.

Cavs #1 in 2021, 2022 and kyrie and korver and cavs must take asik.

#1's conditional on boogie not going back to pels after one seadon.

So if everything goes to shite, Washington might look to make a move on Cousins? I can't imagine it would be much, with him being a pending free agent. Maybe Gortat or Morris, Oubre and a pick?

That's interesting. Boogie was never a goal, he just fell into their laps. Did they offer him? Or perhaps Jrue, or was Demps still trying to get someone to take Asik

Cavs say no. They can get Bledsoe on a better deal plus add Melo to throw a prayer at keeping LeBron.

Also for the million time...
Jrue cannot be traded till December.

I am floored. Only tradable asset for him is Boogie

I wasn't serious lol

I feel like Boogie would have to be involved, and that isn't happening. Dell just wants to get involved as a 3rd team to try and unload guys probably

I think cousins has a bright upside even though hes already been top 10.
So this trade is only "happening" if you take into account cousins is fa this time next year.

It's not. No one puts people on skates more than Kyrie.
