Nobody can convince me that Ant is better in the go to role than BI would be.

Yeah, 4th quarter B.I. was KD-esque for the better part of the past two years.

He's just way too passive.

Update: Ingram is currently the 11th Man on Team USA.
Do a lot of 11th men on teams start? Such a ridiculously stupid statement.

He’s in Kerr’s doghouse if you watch closely. He starts and then gets almost immediately benched and barely plays after. And it’s well deserved. He’s played like absolute arse water.
And to be fair, a lot of them played badly today, but Ingram is basically playing the Naji Marshall role on Team USA minus playing defense right now.
And Shel, I do agree Ingram could potentially be the alpha on this team over Edwards, but something just isn’t right with his play in these games. And he’s such a sieve defensively, they have to bench him when he’s a non factor offensively. Maybe International Ball just isn’t a great fit for Ingram.
Reaves and Hali are absolutely hooping. And so is Banchero. Reaves on $12M a year is by far the best non rookie contract in the NBA.

Haliburton has the worst shot I have seen in a long time. It's shocking to me when it goes in..

He’s literally been about the least effective player on the team if you watch the games. Literally, gets taken out immediately and never goes back in.
Shocking in a way that Austin Reeves is more of a dawg than BI, but it’s not really that shocking if you’ve been paying attention. He’s a really good complimentary player.
Not an alpha or go to for a winning team at all.

Reaves is amazing. Like he’s clearly been better than Ingram in these games.
I think that deep playoff run where he was really efficient and good in clutch situations gave him a ton of confidence. He also gets to pick the brain of Lebron and it shows with how consistently cerebral he plays.
I’d still take Ingram if building a team today, but it’s closer than people think. Especially with one guy making $35-$40M and the other making $12-13M.
BR: Hali is an amazing shooter. I always think it’s going in when he shoots it. He’s a top 10 three point shooter in the league despite having an unconventional jump shot. I’ve been legitimately pissed for 3 years since he went 1 slot before ours in the draft. And he’s been even better than expected.
We had the Jrue trade chip that offseason too and we wasted it for Milwaukee picks and swaps instead of a Top 8 pick in that draft. That Kira draft was so bad to have Hali, Maxey and Bane all attainable in different ways (probably could’ve gotten 2 of them) and by the end of draft night, instead we had Fricking Kira and Steven Adams.

I’m not sure BI’s play with Team USA will have any impact on what we see in the regular season. However, it is completely fair to say that it has been disappointing. Based on BI’s age and experience, a lot of us were hoping to see him be at least one of the leaders of the team and to hopefully experience “the Team USA bump” from this experience and carry that into the season. Unfortunately, none of that has happened and his play has been trending in the wrong direction. Now, I am hoping that he is able to put this experience behind him and the return to his comfort zone will allow his play to elevate.

Wish I could say Dyson's play with Australia is making up for BI's poor performance...but alas

Come on, now. It’s not like BI has turned into trash. He’s still an extremely valuable player.

Everything associated with this organization is depressing.

Dyson is like the 15th man on Australia lol
In terms of the guards, he is playing behind Patty Mills, Giddey, Dante Exum, some random Aussie named Jack White, some other random Aussie, Josh Green, and Thybulle
8th Guard on Team Australia lol

Strugglin' for sure. You'd think his D, alone, could get him on the court more than he currently is. Maybe we have his D a bit overrated...at this time.
