I don't know how we can trade Miller BACK to Minny when we just got him from them in a trade 2 weeks ago. I know he's retiring but still...

If we only give up Dyson, Miller's contract and like a 2nd rounder than Dell Demps is Batman

That wouldn't be so bad unless we paid Lopez a lot.

The first is intriguing. Maybe a favor for the Miller rental, hooking Suns up to get them to the table?

Landry to Minne? Henry to replace Johnson?

Am I reading that right? Dell is trading Miller's salary back to Minny?

I didn't even think about that, that's awesome. Would be pretty funny if the draft picks are the 2 2nds we got from them.

Lopez I guess has potential, but he's such a dumbass it's hard for me to see him reaching it but I guess Monty can maybe coach him up. Ugh.

I mean, he went to Stanford. Not sure he is a dumbass. He's a big, legit 7 footer who is relatively cheap. He's never gotten significant minutes in his 4 year career, averaging 14mpg. His per 36 line is 14/8/2, which leads me to believe he can be a decent contributor if he gets 20MPG.

Warrick is just a waste of space. He's a tad better than Henry so I guess there's that. I hope it's Henry we're sending out. He proved in Summer League that he just doesn't have it. Poor ball handler, kinda aimless on the court. I had hopes for him but it was pretty easy to see why Memphis gave up on him so quickly.

Well Warrick and Henry play different positions. The only reason I see to bring Warrick in is a veteran presence. Im not really sure what he brings to the table at all.

Warrick is just a big body. We were forced to take him in order to get Lopez. After this year he will be an expiring and will have some value.

I like this move, especially if we are giving up 2nd rounders and Dyson.

I hope you guys are right. Suns fans are rejoicing. Their two most hated players are gone.

Does this kill our chances at offering a max deal next year or not? From what it sounds like on here, it would hurt our chances but a simple salary dump trade would fix this problem if we had a legit shot at getting a max deal player. Is that about right?

Warrick is a poor man's Carl Landry. He's a warm body who isn't totally incompetent who plays pretty well in spurts. He can guard some 3's so he has versatility there.

At least part of package back to Minny would include Brad Miller (his contract), Jerome Dyson and draft picks, sources say.

Oh goodness that is awesome...as long as they are 2nd rounders

We've learned over the past month that Suns fans are pretty stupid. At least the ones on their message board.

good trade for Hornets .. they had to pick up Warrick's salary 4M 2012 and 4M 2013 to make the deal work. Wonder how much they gave Lopez $$$

I don't know if the posihornets are right, but Demps and Monty have done a pretty good job of taking other teams cast offs and turning them into decent players.

And for those thinking this would possibly prevent bigger moves, it looks like Demps made this happen by trading Miller back to Minnesota. Like other's have said, I didn't even think that was legal, so Demps is good at being creative.

I think they liked it because they got rid of Warrick (who won't see the court much at all here, barring injuries), and the 1st from Minny.
