What will we do for backup 2 if Henry is gone. I think we want Rivers at the 1 more this season. He will play some 2 but i dont want tht to be where he has to go. Any backup 2's we can pickup on the cheap?

They can grab a guy out of the D-league or some guy wearing warmups on a good team, to fill Henry's "role"

I disagree. I will have to see something more than a subpar summer league showing for the 46th pick in any draft to convince me of this.
I probably should have worded that better, but I think he could fill in the same way Henry could contribute, considering a combination of Gordon, Rivers, and Vazquez is going to take up most of your minutes at both guard spots. I still think we would need to sign another player who could play both spots. Even though he isn't ready for big minutes, Henry's role is easily replaceable by Miller.

I was thinking about this earlier this morning as well. I think my top choice would be someone who has size (so he could play/defend the 3 every now and then) and can also shoot from the perimeter. A few who come to mind are 6'6" Michael Redd, 6'8" T-Mac, and (if we get really, really desperate) ...Sasha Vujacic. Ugh, but boy, do I hate him.
Also, as an FYI, I just posted on H247 about the Hornets pursuing Lopez.

Henry or no Henry, Willie Green will be the backup 2.
And Lopez would be a nice get.

Apparently this isn't over yet.

Confirming a Yahoo! report from Tuesday morning, the Suns have been engaged in sign-and-trade negotiations with New Orleans regarding restricted free agent Robin Lopez. There has been no agreement but also no conclusion to the talks.

I wish they would tell us who'd we give up but I guess that's what the negotiating is about.

It has to be Henry and/or whatever we can get in a S&T of Landry.

I hope we can get another guard then if we're giving up Javier.

New Orleans perhaps has a long memory to opening night, when Lopez posted a season-high 21 points against the Hornets with seven rebounds (he also had a 10-point game in April against New Orleans in 21 minutes, prompting Hornets coach Monty Williams to say he "beasted").

no, we want his brother!
only if his brother is Mario Lopez and he brings Zach, Screech, and the gang with him.

No shite. I'd take Mario over Brook. I don't know if Mario has game, but I do know that Brook Lopez is a waste of seven feet.

Adrian Wojnarowski ?@WojYahooNBA
Hornets, Suns, Wolves are nearing agreement on a 3-way deal that would send Robin Lopez to the Hornets in a sign-and-trade, sources tell Y!

I would be pretty happy with Lopez. He's better than any free agent out there right now.

big fan of Lopez. Hopefully we get this done.
