Granger and Collison for #10 and Ariza?

I would do this in a fricking second, but I doubt Indy would unless they want to free up money DWill/Nash and move George to the 3 full time (in which case it would make sense given some nice talent at the 2 in this draft but little in terms of SFs).

Any trade for Collison or Bledsoe alone would be awful unless it dumps Oak AND we think we have a 95%+ chance at getting DWill or MAYBE Hibbert. I'm pretty indifferent on Turner, and I think Philly is a lot more likely to trade Iggy. I guess they could blow it up, trade both, and end up with two top 10 picks in a pretty good draft.

I can't believe people buy into the 247 BS. They have zero credibility whatsoever. The numbers they come up with are even more delusional. We may very well trade the 10th pick but their source is the internet.

The Millsap rumors came from nbadraft.net forums.

Spoken like an true sheep. Since when is the quality of a person's post correlates with the number of post he/she submit?

The information they get is all over the net. You just need to search for it. I don't have a problem with them bringing them up. The problem is them calling it their "source" which we all know is bs. They also play a game where they throw out a bunch of "trade rumors" from other forums, blogs, and other midea outlets and call it their their "source" and then claim it as credibility when it's all said and done if one of their "info" hits.

But you all keep on buying it like it's gospel.

Since when did I say it was gospel? They find a trade rumor, someone posts it on here, and then we discuss it. I bet you're a ton of fun at parties.

No, they don't "find" rumors. They claims "rumors" as their own from their "source".

Yet another quality post from a "quality poster"

Boy do I feel stupid, I figured this rumor had at least a 95% chance of coming to fruition. Now that I know it isn't, I'm just not going to talk about it at all. I may even RA to have this thread locked/anchored.

I like Millsap, but if he only has a year left on his deal, why?

Yea pick 10 is a gamble, but at the very least we should have a bench player. We'll have nothing to show for it if Millsap leaves after 1 year.

Just assume re-sign landry. They are basically the same player.

Landry as a starter last year averaged 16/7 in 29 minutes and shot 50%. He's an undersized scrappy player like Millsap and will probably come cheaper. Pair him with the 10th pick and you'll have a better chance to maximize your future potential as a team.

Id understand trading for Millsap if we wanted to make a run next year. But that is unrealistic.

Now if we could get Evan Turner? Sure. Or Alec Burks and Millsap. Sure. Or even a player of George Hill caliber.

Totally agree. I just think people are trying too hard right now. With Davis and a good #10 (Trust In Demps), plus a healthy Gordon, and a less ambitious trade or two could turn it around fairly quickly. I know you don't think as highly as Gustavo as I do, but he is a damn solid backup (imagine if he can understand his teammates). Plus, Davis needs minutes at PF. I really think we could upgrade all positions but PF at the 10 spot. Why lock yourself up with a trade for the sake of trading?
