Put me down for Rougarou. I find it hilarious and absurd that many people are choosing pelicans with the notion that Rougarou may be laughed at when pelicans was the butt of many jokes after it was announced. You want unique; Rougarou. You want Louisiana; Rougarou. I even saw people saying the more the name was ridiculed by folks outside of Louisiana, the more they wanted it; Rougarou.
