Same. I drank the Kool Aid for longer than most. I started to be out on him this year when he had a minor injury and also just wasn't impacting games in a meaningful way on the court. Now I'm fully out on him and the team as a whole. We are going to suck for a long time unless drastic changes are made.

The only person who could save Zion is David Goggins. I think I knew Zion was a bum when that video leaked a couple years ago of him fat as hell watching anime. But I convinced myself this time would be different. Nah, he’s really just a weird arse, undisciplined mfer who happened to be born in the most athletic body we’ve maybe ever seen. I don't understand how you get to play the sport you love with your friends as your literal career, and to top it off you're getting paid half $1 million for one single game. Every single game you're getting half $1 million. And that still isn't enough to motivate you? Or make you grateful and do every possible thing you can to be the best you can be? You literally have nothing else to do. You have all the time in the world just to get in shape to play the game you supposedly love while you get paid millions.

He just never had to work for anything. It’s apparent he is naturally gifted. He doesn’t have a sense of pride in his work because it was simply given to him by freak genetics. Lebron was similarly a genetic freak but he grew up in poverty with a single mother, he used that environment to become stronger. Zion was coddled, we don’t need proof of the coddling, just look at his actions. He became comfortable before he ever accomplished a damn thing. And that’s not ours or anyone associated with the Pelicans’ fault, we should have hit the lottery of all lottery’s but our savior was a mental midget, no other way around it.
