Truth! Easy to point to him as the one player young Pels fans can look up to.

I have said this before on here. If you have a child that loves basketball then bring him to a Pels game and tell him or her to focus on Herb and what he does on both sides of the floor. He is an unreal on ball defender, an unreal help defender, has a knack for always being in the passing lanes, does an unbelievable job moving w/o the ball, I could go on and on.
Every game he is out there it is like watching a clinic on how to play winning basketball.

And most of his success comes from just pure effort and hustle.. He's definitely got a great mind for where to be, who to help, etc, but so much of Herb's success seems like it's because he's the only player on the court playing with playoff-level intensity

While guys like BI and Trey play defense like they just grew arms yesterday

1st, i love Herb and toughness and tenacity he brings every night
2nd, he's the only that seems to truly, truly give a shite, most nights

that being said, the only issue i have with Herb is his inconsistent offensive output... and like i've said in the past, we don't need 25 a game from him... if we'd be able to count on 12-15 a night from him, combined with everything else he brings defensively, HE is the guy you build around... but as it stands, his offensive production is just too inconsistent from game to game... great piece to build with though, but he does need to take that next step offensively
