New Orleans G/F Herb Jones (right low back contusion) has been downgraded to doubtful on Tuesday’s official injury report after missing the past three games listed as questionable. Four Pelicans players remain out, including Brandon Ingram (left great toe contusion), E.J. Liddell (right knee ACL injury recovery), Dereon Seabron (G League - two way) and Zion Williamson (right hamstring strain).

At least give me a doubtful for B.I. to give me some glimmer of hope. I'm sure it'll be after the all-star break though.

Yeah Ingram will maybe come after the all star break. Setting myself up for that.

the fact that they keep listing it as a "toe contusion" after nearly 2 months is the funniest part

fricking laughable, injuries have put a damper on the excitement that we had. BI and Zions injuries, especially BI’s sucked the momentum clean out of the fan base. We have to watch dogshit devonte chunk brick after brick and we gonna wear CJ out.

Can’t believe Herb is out this long with a bruise. Hate to be negative, but we seem to lead the league in softness for minor injuries.

It’s funny seeing the fan base melt over a team that is currently 8 games above .500 and sitting 3rd in the west.

I guarantee the crowd tomorrow night will be great, like it has been all season.

Or we know how much fire power we have and we are not going to push it when the playoffs is what matters.

My guy, you can save these players for the playoffs all you want, but you aren't going anywhere without developing chemistry.

And that chemistry will be curated after the ASB.

How many games was it until CJ and Nance developed chemistry?

Thats right like 20 games.
They'll be fine.

BI and the team know that it would be very easy for him reaggravate it if it's not right.. same with Zion's hammy

So you're sitting at #3 in the West without them but starting to fall off the pace and back to the middle of the pack.. I would hope that BI is weighing the chance of hurting it again and ending his season vs falling out of top 4 seeds

Answering my own question here. At what point does Dr Scott Montgomery at Oschner start to feel some heat from this never-ending ridiculousness?

How does Herb's bruise get worse over time?
