How did it go from Knicks have to trade us Zion for AD to the Knicks still have enough for us to want to get AD even without Zion? Wouldn't that decimate what they have left?

If they make the trade, they get AD, KD, and KI.
If they don't make the trade, they will suck for a long time but be just good enough not to have better lottery odds. They will forever spend their offseasons praying for ping pong balls.

The thing to watch is if the Knicks really think they get KD and Kyrie in free agency. If that happens they don't need Barrett or Dennis Smith Jr, if this happens here nis the deal.

Knicks get: AD and whomever to make the money work (Not Holiday).

I think #3, Robinson, and Knox should be the core of ANY Knicks deal.....
