I no particular order, I jotted down some notes:

We interviewed 9 coaches for the job. Stan was the only one that seen the Point Zion vision.

Ingram is a leader of this team, and is the guy they feel will take the initiative to get everyone together for offseason workouts and to build as a team.

Zion nor Ingram will have any input from the team for the Olympics, basically said its their decision and they will support them.

This offseason, they will place an emphasis on BBIQ, Shooting and Toughness.

There was no tax mandate from ownership this season, they just decided now is not the time to start the tax "clock".

If he could go back and re-do the season he would not get this close to the tax and hinder other moves. I took this as he wouldn't trade for Steven if he could have a redo.

The core is 2 players, Zion and BI.

Hart and Ball are championship caliber players and they want them back.

The team you seen this year is not the team they are, he feels they are pretty much in the middle of the REALLY good team we seen, and the team that blew multiple double digit leads.

Happy about the culture, not happy about the on court results.

Griff is such a bull shitter. He’s just saying this to justify the hiring.

Yeah...let's see if Griffin learns from his mistakes, and this offseason he made many.

What has either of those guys done to prove they are championship caliber players in the NBA?

Ok, I totally misunderstood what he said.

He said Lonzo and Hart are playoff caliber rotational players.

BBIQ cannot be taught. Hopefully this means bringing in players via the draft, trade, and FA that have a higher bbiq, and getting rid of those that don't have it.
Toughness cannot be taught. NAW dove for the ball stealing it from Lebron last night in the 1st quarter. Lonzo wouldn't have done that in the last seconds of a playoff game.

NAW, Kira, Hart, Naji all need to become better shooters.

We have to say that if we want to be compensated in a S&T, but i do believe they want them both back.

I got the feeling from him talking that the pick is pretty much going to be traded for a vet win now player.

He just had that vibe

Nowhere in the cliff notes did he point the finger at himself. Griffin is a fraud.

The reason the team sucked is not guard play but those off season moves last summer.

It's not the outside shooting but the free throws. The team is fundamentally unsound. Instead of hiring a developer Griffith selects a blogger.

He wants toughness but complaints about physical play against Zion. Griffith wants shooters but trade for Adams and Bled.

GAYLE please do something!

This is just flat out wrong, he blamed himself, the front office and the coaching staff multiple times.

Giving Lonzo a ton of money would be the nail in the coffin.

I just don’t believe anything he says! And I wish I was joking.

Look I dislike Griff more than most, but that's not accurate.

He talked about not being smart with the salaries this year. That's him blaming himself.
He talked about not having enough shooters. That's him blaming himself.

Griff is more than likely telling a lie here, but let's assume he is telling the truth. This is an indictment on his ability to find good candidates to interview. "Point Zion" is far from a super creative idea that no one saw coming besides a 60 year old coach out of the league.

I think I’m at the point of addition by subtraction. I don’t have faith in anything he does.

For all those saying where going to overpay Zo Griff called him a playoff caliber rotational player. We view bringing Josh back as a higher priority over Zo

This.

He could have said that SVG has a rep as a PG-developer that fit what the franchise envisioned for Zion, which was likely true, but to say he was the only person that could have identified Point Zion is nuts. Read a 10 second bio on the internet and you could have seen that he grew up playing in the guard spot.

yup he’s not worth any contract to me. I’d let him walk for free before signing him for 10-15 mil

He didn't say he was the only person that COULD have identified Point Zion, he said that out of the 9 candidates they interviewed he was the ONLY one that spoke about the vision of Point Zion.
