Not too far behind Davis is Eric Gordon, who could also see his return to the floor some time in December, and possibly around Christmas.

Gordon has been working with strength trainers and rehab specialists in LA, trying to overcome a setback in his knee recovery. Hornets’ sources say Gordon is making tremendous progress; so much so that they are hopeful he can make his season debut before the end of 2012.

There has been talk that if Gordon cannot make a recovery after this extend rehab stretch that he may require additional surgery, so there is a lot riding on the success of this treatment and rehab.

For some reason every writer at HoopsWorld had some Hornets interviews this week, so I think this is more than just recompilation of other news reports. It may be team PR BS, but it's fresh BS.

I was just saying I wanted this as a Christmas present in the AD to return thread. Maybe there is a Santa Clause after all.

This is not new information. This is just them rehashing the previous rumor of microfracture as a possibility.

I think he's just repeating rumors with that one. That microfracture story may be true, but it came from a suspect source (Chris Broussard) and conflicted with all of the other information we had. Why would Monty act like the team doctors had cleared him if he might actually need surgery? Why do you need surgery if there is "no structural damage"?

Again, that was a very iffy report that conflicted every other piece of information on the Gordon situation.
