Garrett Temple says he’s given no thought to retiring. “Definitely got some hoop left in me.” Says he wants to be back in New Orleans.

Yeah I literally just posted about that.

I’d take $5 million to ride the pine too. I think he’s too old for a 2 Way, so I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Not for 5 million. Bring him on as an assistant

vet min for the Udonis Haslem role.

I’m sure he does… 5 million dollars for some scrimmages and locker room advice!

It’s non guaranteed, they can waive him and then bring him back on a minimum.

Roster spots are pretty tight. For now at least.

I don't see him providing any benefit whatsoever.

Why bring him back? How many vets do we need for “leadership”.
First it was him, then CJ and Larry.

George Hill just said the same thing with the Pacers. We have experienced players on the roster without having to give one out as charity to GT. This "role" should die out with Haslem IMO. Too many players more deserving of a spot than some of these bums

Like who?
The last player on your bench is either a player/coach or a 2-way guy. Neither really brings any value on-the-court, one of them – theoretically, at least – adds value off of it.

For instance if we needed a spot for EJ or Karlo, im giving it to them over GT.

Buddy averaged 6 minutes PER GAME

How do we know if we need a spot though? Based on their G-League performances?
If it came down to Seabron and GT this year, you're taking Seabron?

Seabron.
GT could literally just be front office guy but he doesn’t see the writing on the wall.

He brings nothing to the table. GT (again, theoretically) brings something.

You're severely overrating the last spot on the bench and how talented that player should be.
