Update: game postponed per Woj

Sources: Philadelphia-New Orleans tonight appears in jeopardy: Andre Drummond and Shake Milton have entered COVID-19 protocols, joining Georges Niang. Furkan Korkmaz (illness) and three others are out and Danny Green, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey are questionable to play.

I'm pretty sure this should be a forfeit, right?

We need all the easy W‘s we can get. So of course they’re going to make us replay this one.

The NBA is still considering the fate of the Sixers-Pelicans game, but Philadelphia is struggling to deliver eight available players tonight, sources tell ESPN. G-League players in Las Vegas for the Showcase has complicated the process of getting call-ups into town quickly.

It's amazing to me that so for our roster has been unaffected by the covid protocols.

It should be a forfeit but it may be a good thing if it doesn’t happen. Odds are our guys start testing positive after we play against a team with a ton of positives.

It’s on the road too so you know they’re gonna bone us in rescheduling down the line. Double whammy.

Before long, the league will start calling up players from their partner's sweat shops in Red China to fill out their Wuhan-infected rosters. That way, the league will remain true to its Socialistic Core and fix the problem with 'pennies-a-day', cheap replacements. All the while, the league's elite can continue to rake in the bucks on the backs of 'slave labor'.

I mean, hell, it works for the NBA with regards to their uniforms and tennis shoes, doesn't it?

The ideal thing to happen today would have been for us to play them severely depleted and get a win, just like we did against the Bucks.

But, if you're still holding on to the hope of making the play-in, then a postponement is the 2nd-best thing, as it will likely get rescheduled towards the end of the season, when Zion might (in theory, anyway) be playing for us.

(I know that I'm a sucker for hoping that Zion makes it back and we make the play-in, so you don't need to tell me.)

Philly gets to avoid a back 2 back.

They benefit from having a Covid outbreak.

Postponements, not cancellations gives us a stronger chance to get Zion back for 30+ games.

So long as the facilities remain open.

A 2 week pause on the season would benefit us quite a lot but it would also be a nightmare for the nba. They aren’t going to do it.

Yea but no other games have resulted in forfeits.

Someone on Twitter pointed out that Philly is benefitting in that Simmons is technically healthy but doesn't count towards their player count. Not sure how true that is but Philly should have 1 less player of wiggle room for that, he should count as a healthy player.
