Ingram was efficient AF tonight

and missed 11 of them.
raps had ten fewer makes on TWENTY fewer takes

game should not have been close. Props to the closers for saving this one, it was big. Now they need to start stacking

SVG understood Zion cannot be on the floor in close matches atm (bad defender, bad at FT...)

Props to Lonzo, Bledsoe, and the Pelicans defense for their adjustments on Van Vleet. David Wesley mentioned he made one shot in the second half.

SVG just said that Hayes played "outstanding" tonight.

I do notice that Hayes had a +/- of zero tonight. Normally, we really suffer with Adams out of the game, and that didn't happen tonight.

He can be in the game in close games, just not against the type of lineup Toronto had out there

Truth is we’re honestly probably 1-4 right now with Gentry

Pair the scoring PG with Zion(Bledsoe), who needs a facilitator.

Pair the passing PG with Ingram(Lonzo), who doesn't need a facilitator.

This will be my 3rd game posting this but (in the hopes SVG sees this) the 2 bench rotations NEED to be:

Ingram
Bledsoe
Hart
JJ/NAW
Hayes/Melli

Zion
Lonzo
Adams
Hart
JJ/NAW

Maybe, just maybe, one day he'll stumble across one of these and it'll click.

We ended up finishing the game shooting 37% from deep, while we held the Raptors to 29%.

Trying to boost his confidence no doubt. For Hayes' normal game it may have been pretty good I guess. Rebounded well and didn't totally f up. Hit his free throws.

It was arguably his best game as a pel yet. He didn't look completely lost the whole time and he had great effort.

I saw a pick where he actually planted his feet and stood his ground. That's a massive improvement. There were also several plays on defense where you could tell he remembered "oh yeah, just keep my hands up, I'm really tall."

Raptors have no beef, they’re all tall and skinny like Hayes. Good chance to gain confidence

Can tell they've been on Jaxson about his screens. He's been a statue on them tonight

Probably showed the "lost puppy screener" play about 100 times in film to drive the point home. He looked absolutely fricking ridiculous on that play.

I agree.

Bledsoe and Ingram can run the 2nd unit offense.

So much of Zion's success depends on guys getting him the ball in the right spots. Lonzo's far and away the best guy on the roster to do that.

Zion also should never be paired with Hayes. Jaxson just has no clue how to operate on the court in a way that gives Zion space to work. Adams just understands the game better.

If Melli's gonna continue to be unplayable, Zion needs to be paired with Lonzo and Adams.

Put Bledsoe and Hayes with BI.
