Magic - #26 (Long and Athletic) - Have had little success lately
Spurs - #21 (A Break) - Should absolutely win
@Suns - #10 // KD, Book, Beal
@Blazers - #28 - Should absolutely win
@Kangs - #8 - We Own Them
@Warriros - #7 - Very Old but stil the Warriors
Lakers - #9 - plus refs = hard game.

Schedule makers did us no favors. Pelicans current PPG avg is 115. After DET, the bar to reach for every game to be in position to win is 120 for the next 4 games after. Which means were gonna have to pray that Naji and Jose make a lot of shots or were BBQ Chicken. I also dont expect Zion to have enough 4 point game but our win thresholds are absolutely razor thin.

All those teams also face one of the league’s best defense and Herb Jones. Schedule makers did those teams no favors. I feel sorry for those teams coming into the Blender!!!

Win in Detroit on Sunday and they just basically need to go .500 to get to 50. That's as favorable as they need it to be for the Pelicans. Anything more than that will just be icing on the cake.

Pels are currently 8th in PPG (DEF) and pretty much all due to Herb Jones

Herb should be a lock DPOY if he were in a large market.

I would love someone to pull up the defensive metrics with and without Dyson. Obviously, I know he makes our defense better but curious by how much. Without Dyson our defense has looked and statistically remained elite. Meanwhile without Herb, our defense looks and feels like a bottom league defense. I also think with Dyson being out, its given added time to Naji/Jose who have kept our defense at a high standard.

Good test for what's upcoming in the playoffs. Need to see how we can effectively use JV against the better teams.
Plus, see what the bench rotation should be shortened to.

We are heading to the playoffs, might as well get an early start on how tough it will be.

We have Herb to take out one of their primary guys so I like our chances to at lest hold down the fort until BI is back. If we go 3-3 over our next 6 I think we will be in good shape.
