Yeah we're talking about practice, but these were pretty well contested shots and it's August. There are short video clips at the links

20+ footer over Jrue LINK

Even higher degree of difficulty shot from the same area over Payton LINK

Man I hope Frank Jackson works out as the first guard off the bench. He would be such a great scoring punch off the bench if his talent can translate into the court.

Watching Jrue and Payton play defense could (should) be fun this year

I put zero stock into the videos. I could have made a shot on Jrue if given ample opportunities. I would have been more impressed if he was able to create more space off the dribble and it not be an extremely low percentage jump shot. Regardless, nice to see.

That being said, i'm excited about Frank Jackson. If he can provide quality minutes, and not be a negative on the court, that will go a long way in our success this season. I like the moxie Ian Clark brings, but i'd much rather see Frank play those minutes as the season goes on over Clark, and become a minor core player for us for the future.

You should post the video of Jrue doing the between the legs dunk. (that the video made sure not to show if it went in or not)

This videos are not candid.

But nice to see Jrue taken to Frank.

I wouldn't be shocked for Jackson to have a big role on the team by the end of the season.

Also, does Vegas have odds for making All Rookie team?

what is/was the nature of his injury? Did it occur during game play in college?
I’m not recalling on draft night that he was known injured but I could be wrong

It happened before summer league if I'm not mistaken. He was healthy in the draft.

He had a foot injury that may not have cost him games at duke but he had surgery on it before the draft which is part of why he fell into the 2nd. Then in typical Pels fashion a player that wasn’t expected to play last year came back too soon and had to have another surgery.

I'm not sure he can't earn a starter spot over Elfrid at some point.

Dude is athletic, hard work, higher ceiling as a shooter.

His upside is great, but he’s made of glass. He reminds me of a smiling EG without the college and nba success.

I was changing it some.
I dropped a guy. Wagner.
Well this way I probably get sexton right at least.

I think Wagner is going to make it big.

Completely different roles, IMO. If Frank can this this teams 3rd guard/6ty man by next season, that’s a success.

They haven't played a game yet, we don't know their roles yet. Especially Jackson.

Payton is a ball handler, someone who is in the game to run the offense. Frank is a combo guard that has more of a focus on scoring. They have completely different “games”. Those are the roles that I’m talking about
