Even better, he returns to NO next year with Zion, Jrue, Tatum and Brown! The beginning o\f a dynasty!! Who thought AD could be such a genius!?

And of those...
Ingram is currently injured and if he ever gets another blood clot, his career could be over.
Ball can’t shoot for shite and can’t stay healthy, though the latter could be fixed if he wears real shoes and not that BBB bullshite.
My knock on the 4th pick is that it is a decided step down from Barrett or Ja, and the four plus guys at that level (Garland, Culver, Hunter, White, etc) have questions about them either with their game or their fit with us.

The LA deal has a middling floor due to the players being NBA level but not really spectacular, most of them coming up on new contracts soon, and the 4th pick being a bit of a crap shoot. (Ex - Why get Garland if you are keeping Ball? How long will it take Culver to develop? Etc)
Well I don't want a Lakers deal where i get Ball in return, or even Kuzma.
Ideally, i'd like to send Ball to Phoenix, and i want their 2020 first.
I'd like to send Kuzma and Solo to someone to get a decent player back, like Myles Turner, or Robert Covington, or Kelly Oylynk, or Aaron Gordon, or Nurkic, who knows.
I would not be excited about a Lakers deal where Ball and Kuzma are Pelicans.
and who care how longs Culver takes to develop?

Im hearing doctors are saying Ingram should be fine. I cant really comment either way because Im not a expert. Jrue couldnt stay healthy early in career either glad we didnt move on from him. Im fine with Boston or Lakers trade I think both bring great value.

Jrue’s case was at least two things.
One was a stress reaction in his leg which wasn’t treated properly, which is on the training staff.
The other was family business (sick wife IIRC) that had him out for a while.
And a stress reaction in your leg isn’t a potentially fatal issue like a blood clot is. Any NBA team should be wary as hell about any blood clot issues considering that Miami is just now getting out from Bosh’s huge contract requiring a medical retirement.

Ingram will be paid handsomely next year and injury concerns
Ball doesn’t want to be here, can’t shoot at ALL, and injury concerns
Hart regressed pretty badly this year
No thanks unless I’m getting 4 and 3 unprotected first round picks 21 23 25 and pick swaps

There isn't enough sample size to deem either as injury prone. Especially at their current age. Lonzo ball rolled his ankle in a game, so he is injury prone? lol ok.
Ingram's clot has checked out by all accounts.

Probably in the minority but I like Tatum and Smart more than anything else hypothesized.
Someone said Lauri and Lavine. I like that one.

quote:Ball has missed 40% of the games in his career. As far as Ingram, there are no guarantees that he will not get another blood clot and one more ends his career. Given that he will get a max contract in one year, that is a huge risk. If we trade for him, hopefully the specialists can give a high level of comfort that it would be extremely unlikely to happen again.

First off Ball will NEVER be on this team regardless of if we trade with the Lakers. Either they will ship him for a pick or we will. Second, I trust Griffin and the FO to develop which ever players they decide to take. I'd rather a Bos deal or even another Eastern Conf team because on top of getting players, our next best shot to get better would be to get AD out of the West. If we end up with Ingram, a draft pick for Ball, and other assests I would hold my breathe but trust that our FO knows what they are doing.

I definitely prefer the players on Boston's roster versus what the Lakers can offer. Boston has the Grizzlies future pick while the Lakers have the #4. It might sound crazy, but I almost want to give a slight edge to the Grizzlies pick but maybe that's just wishful thinking that future drafts will be deeper. I also prefer Boston's own first rounders over the Lakers because there is a higher chance that AD bails on Boston versus zero chance of him bailing on the Lakers.
The only good role the Lakers serve in this is to drive up the price the other teams must pay.

They 100% need to give up Brown AND Memphis' pick as well. They seriously think Tatum, Smart, Robert Williams, and the #14 fricking pick is good enough for AD?

good enough for AD?
That's not the standard, none of these deals will be good enough for AD. Teams always lose the when trading star players. What they need to be better than is the Lakers/Knicks offers.

Could you elaborate on which package would be better other than a package from the same team including Brown?

It's pretty late in the day and we've only seen more pro Boston reports. Tomorrow's another day, but is Klutch staying quiet for once?
Posted on 6/7/19 at 6:47 pm to TigerinATL
I find that really surprising.
You know what I’m most curious about?
If it’s revealed that we have reached a deal with them around draft time but it can’t be completed until new league year.
What shenanigans will Klutch pull?

as I said before there is nothing now to be gained by klutch acting up.
certainly griffin has told rich paul to keep his trap shut and to let him do his job
for now anyway

I think this could be good news as in the bids are getting more serious and teams don't want to release their better offers incase they leak and it causes other teams to bid more. But leave it to LA to fcke that up for other teams.
