When we get throttled the excuse will be that they haven't played together long enough

Not an excuse, the reason will be the coaching. We are about to see the glaring disparity in that department.

But even Boston has had three coaches in the last like 4 years. Continuity in the players and experience together does matter. Coaching while important I think is secondary to cohesion.

Does the "correct starting lineup" not include BI? or herb? Or are you saying they should have been traded and herb off the bench?

Willie Green, before Zion Williamson returns from suspension tonight, said stacking the most amount of games together possible & showing he’s a force against will make for a successful finish.

If our starting 5 can keep up with the best teams without Herb in the lineup then yes Herb would be most effective off the bench.

BI should start if CJ was gone. Or both of them should go and we need to find a younger/ more fitting replacement.

Trey's presence in the starting 5 makes Herb's abilities a luxury.

We would now be playing for leads and to hold them instead of playing to stay close and somehow take the lead.

This does NOT mean Herb is playing less minutes than Trey or that he is playing the same minutes as Jose/ Hawk.

Herb has probably been hurt the entire year and problem a majority of the reason why his numbers are down a bit. However, you need a certified bucket getter at the SG level until Missi can become an offensive threat.
