Ummmmm SGA has to be in any Clippers trade. That’s a non-starter.

I think a Pels/Celtics/Pacers 3-way could work with Brown going to the Pacers and Turner, Tatum, and Smart going to the Pels. Pels also getting the Memphis pick.

Celtics, Clippers, and Knicks remain the most compelling to me.
It is probably a crapshoot who's team will be worse in the year their pick materializes, LA and the Miami pick or Boston and the Memphis pick.
And honestly, I would probably say the Miami pick may be more compelling.

Shocker. I think that Celtics offer is not there. The Clippers and maybe Knicks challenge that offer. Brown and at least one other 1st needs to be added.
Knicks and Lakers have young players who don't win. Clippers have vet role players who do, but who would be unlikely to resign in a year. They be sure to hurt your pick next year before they go, though. It would literally be the worst of all options for the Pels, IMO. Literally better off just letting AD kick back in Malibu while you tank for a year. Clips can also just roll their cap room over a year and sign AD for nothing.
In other words, Clippers are a non-starter. I will literally eat a rock and post the video on youtube if he gets dealt there.
Meanwhile, Celts have proven young talent that is cost-controlled, and likely the best future draft pick out of what is out there.

Yes, none of this is with AD opting in.
I'm not looking at 3-way trades because that would just make my head hurt and the reply all disasters that would come from it.
I think I'd rank them right now Celtics then Clippers. Going to counter and see. But I think it's interesting to see what people who cover these teams are offering and how it differs from what we expect for AD.
No Nets offer, but nothing they have intrigues me that much anyway.

Collins has role player potential. Simons has barely played in the league and those picks are a whole lot of nothing if AD and Dame are teamed up.
And a whole lot of something if AD walks.

Only way I consider a Clips offer is if we also get Doc Rivers back in the trade. I’d also push to get Brad Stevens in a Trade with the Celtics. They can keep Smart and Jaylen. Just give me Tatum, Stevens and the 14th pick and I’ll call it a day.

Well none of that is going to happen.

You think any coach besides pop is worth brown and smart? This is a players league
Posted on 5/29/19 at 7:37 pm to NolaJake
AD to the Nets for Spencer Dinwiddie, Joe Harris, Jarrett Allen, Rodions Kurucs, Jared Dudley, the 17th pick and their 2020 1st.

Brown and Smart are nice pieces, but Smart makes 13m a year and Brown will be making 15m plus soon. Obviously I don’t think this is gonna happen, but I like to give credence to every possibility.
I mean who ever thought AD would develop into such a fig? Who ever thought we could swing a Boogie Trade for Buddy Hield? Who ever thought Boogie would take 5.3m from the Warriors? Who ever thought we’d lose that one game against the Suns where Alvin called a timeout he didn’t have after he had spent the last 10 minutes reminding the team they were out of timeouts and that historically improbable loss ultimately would lead us to win the lottery of one of the top 2 most hyped prospects in the last 20 years?
Crazy shite tends to happen to our 2 franchises down here, so I think it’s okay to speculate about future crazy shite happening.

Dude it’s lame as shite when people post generally the same trades and ideas over and over. I swing for the fences. At the very least I give the board someone to unite against. Y’all seem to like that. This board needs balance. We don’t need 59 smart posters all saying essentially the same thing. We need some mother fricking wildcards in this bitch to help spice things up during the dog days. If I’m Griffin I’m telling Boston they are out of the running and gonna lose Kyrie as well unless they throw me a package with Brad Stevens in it.

That offer is a shitpile of 3rd rate prospects. Over Tatum, Smart, and the Grizz pick? Not here to overrate my guys. We can definitely get beat out. Just won't be by the Clippers.
