Durant goes against everything we’re building. We don’t need a fair weather pre-Madonna that’s going to erode our team chemistry with his BS.

Exactly and if we took a flyer on someone like that I'd rather it be Kyrie who is younger and fits a bigger need than KD.

We are contenders now with or without Durant. Not sure how anyone can watch this team at the end of last year and not realize that by adding Zion we are contenders.

Durant is 34.

If this was 27 year old Durant leaving OKC, then sure. I’m all for it. But this is 34 year old Durant coming off a first round sweep where he was a brick master.

Durant, Harden, and Westbrook who all started off in Oklahoma are at the end of their careers, they aren't the players they used to be and it's already noticeable. So, you take that chance on a trade if you want to, but know that they won't be playing for long. The consistent injuries and abundance of games being missed because of those injuries are what goes along with aging players. So, yeah you might win a title or you might not. Me, I'd rather keep my young loaded team together.

That young Okie team with Durant, Harden, and Westbrook reminds me of the NOP team right now with all the great young talent they have.

Crazy how winning a play in game then losing to a 1 seed gets the fan base all hyped up.

Yes the future is bright, but patience has to be a virtue… don’t push the “win now” mode.

2-3 years away from contention… keep stacking experience and fun… build the youth.

But If you have a chance to make a splash and add KD to CJ + the youth depth… you do it ASAP. Even if you give up future for a 1 championship

Look at the what 1 SB did for Nola… ppl still act like it’s 2009.

We are not 2-3yrs away from contention. This team, without arguably its best player, looked like it could compete now. Add in Trey and herb growing and previously mentioned best player and we are a threat now.

The problem is when you end up with a post-Madonna.

I hope so, but at the same time I wouldn’t push it…

Do NOT stunt the growth… last year adding CJ and getting a taste of playoffs was great for an under .500 team…

But yes, little by little..: brick by brick… get there.

You're selling off your future for a chance at a 1-2 year window. Versus keeping our team together and having a window of 5-8 years.

KD does not guarantee a title.

You don’t even know what your getting with zion. He’s always in street clothes. They where 10 games below 500. You make a move for Durant if you can.

You’re an insufferable douche and clearly not a pels fan. Just leave this board dude.

The pels will never EVER trade for Durant so it's not worth talking about.

I’d do it if Durant wasn’t such a pussy.
Abut he is, so no

And I’m okay with that but this board acts like the pels are so damn good. When they are far from it. They were barely a playoff team.

A more realistic discussion but very much similar…

If you are Boston, would you give the Nets Tatum and add KD to that mix?

Doesn’t that get you over the hump? Short term championships vs long term Tatum?
