Jose has to be in the running for MIP

That award though is almost always relegated to guys that take the leap from good player to great player. Think: Ja Morant, Brandon Ingram, Pascal Siakam, Giannis, CJ, Julius Randle, Jimmy Butler

It’s more likely Trey Murphy if anyone on our team.

Naji is still good for minutes where he doesn't feel like he's the first or second option and morph into Costco MJ

Even that would be unlikely unless Trey becomes a 20ppg all star level guy.

Haliburton/Maxey are the type of guys I expect to be in the final running. Guys that went from 17-18ppg "good" players, to 20+ ppg guys people are talking all star, cornerstone players.

Trey feels like someone that in year 4 might make that leap(and I think that is very much in the cards for him TBH).

Yeah, one of the more exciting things about our roster is that it's clear that Trey is nowhere near his peak yet.

Of course you never know where a guy may plateau, but I can see a realistic (best case) scenario where trey goes from a 12ppg guy this year, a 14-15ppg guy the next, then explodes into his prime as a 17-19ppg guy.

Maybe not MIP, but thats a guy that would be a very nice 3rd or 4th scoring option.

It's been clear to most of us for a long time but even Willie is starting to see that DG and Jax just aren't fits.

So when do we make the move to get rid of DG/Jax?

If Kira is healthy, he can easily replace Graham's minutes with little to no drop off IMO. But really, he doesn't even need to play. Give all the extra minutes to Jose and Dyson.

Jax is just useless at this point.

Unfortunately, I still think we'll have to pay someone to take Graham.

Daniels is this year's version of last year's Herb.

And to think, Herb was a freshman bench player on the 9th best team in the SEC was he was Dyson’s age

The rebound and full court pass was awesome. Super aware of what is going on and his 3 point stroke looks smooth. Herb better get his offense together because Daniels could be coming to steal some minutes.

Ramona Shelburne shared an Andrew Lopez stat that lineups with Herb, Dyson, and Jose had a defensive rating of 77.8 in 8 minutes. Very small sample size, but that's kind of exciting for crunch time defensive lineups off of free throws.
