Who? Good centers are way harder to find than most people are willing to acknowledge.

I tend to agree with this. As far as who:

1) Allen or Mobley. Whoever Cleveland decides to move on from
2) Myles Turner if he ever became available
3) Nic Claxton in a backup role
4) Try for Bam?

Digging into the Center contracts, teams have their guys kinda locked up for the next 3 years so im not really sure

The answer should have been the same answer after AD/ Cousins. Keep drafting until you find one and then keep drafting.

The Trey Murphy we've seen the last few games is a guy that can be the difference between a first round playoff exit and making the conference finals on this team.

That being said, nothing about what Trey Murphy does comes close to replacing what BI does.
I swear the Trey Murphy takes on here can be so absurd at times, as well as the lack of understanding what a guy like BI does and his role.

We keep forgetting that “big” time players don’t what to play here. Bi supposedly loves it here. He is only 26.

I'm so ready to say yes to this question as I feel Trey matches better with Zion. But I got to see it with some consistency.

Two words: REED SHEPPARD

honestly I thinkTrey is a better fit next to Zion, but if Zion is hurt you’re kind of fked not having another primary scorer/ball handler.

Like some have said on here if we don’t make the second round I think you have to let him go.

If Zion is hurt you're fricked either way. Have you seen how this team plays when he's out for an extended period of time?

I think I’ve read somewhere we have a better record this season with just Bi/CJ than Zion/CJ. Also we have the worst win percentage when it’s CJ out and just BI/Z. I might have made this all up but I remember reading something like this a few weeks ago.

Can't speak for record but here's something else I saw today:

BI/Zion/CJ ON - We have a negative net rating

Every other possible combination with those 3 dudes has a positive net. Meaning, any combo of 2 of them on, any of the 3 on alone, and even if none of the 3 are on court...all have positive net ratings.

Even on this run we're on, the starting lineup still is struggling to score the ball, but they're elite defensively.

I really have no idea why that unit can't score, it's basically 4 dudes who can get a bucket and a super efficient Herb Jones.

We had essentially the same roster last season, minus the fact that Zion only played 29 games and we only won 42 games.

ETA: my point is that the team isn’t going anywhere if Zion is injured, you can’t build your team to be successful if your best player is out, because it’s highly unlikely that you’re going anywhere if your best player is out anyway

Yea, even if there's a scenario where we could be respectable in the event that Zion missed 20-25 regular season games, if you feel there's a version to max out this team but it would leave us more vulnerable if Zion were out, you gotta let it ride and live with that.

Zion going out for Pels is a lot like the Bucks losing Giannis. They have other good players, but they aren't going to the finals without Giannis. Pels can mitigate losing Zion for a stretch, but if he goes down for they year, Pels can't realistically replace his production and impact on the rest of the roster...
