Currently lighting it up for the Spurs tonight.

26 points - 5/11 from 3

You just can’t make this shite up.

I hope he does well for Spurs. I like him a lot as a person. It just didn’t work out here for some reason

Fits their style of play better. And he doesn't need to watch how many shots he takes.

Without a doubt. Always seemed like a nice guy and you could tell he loved all his teammates. He was almost always one of the first up off the bench celebrating when someone hit a 3.

Bunch of clutch shots in the 4th Q. Helped get the game into OT for sure.

Why is he able to play for the spurs tonight but JR can’t play for the pels?

He started 1-5 which is more typical for him. NO REGERTS!

Would have been nice to get Collins to shore up your frontcourt.

The Spurs don’t have aspirations to win and there is limited upside or downside if Graham plays bad especially against a shitty team like Detroit who is also not trying to win.

Pels are trying to win games, so they want to make sure J Rich is well versed before he takes the floor.

Also, who should he take minutes from night 1? Naji?
Kira? I just don’t see how forcing him into the lineup immediately would benefit anyone. We have more than enough depth for this game.

If anyone random is going to make an impact tonight, it will be Jaxson Hayes or Willy to help try and slow down Cleveland’s bigs.

Devonte went 12 for his last 23 from three for the Pels before the trade. Just too little, too late and he was too inconsistent shooting while he was here. Like a poster said he’ll be able to just let it fly for the Spurs.

As a KU fan, I’ll always have a soft spot for Devonte. When he was first traded to the Pels, I was excited and thought he could play a big role. It turned out he wasn’t a great fit on the floor and didn’t really improve as the team around him improved. I did love that he was always one of the first guys off the bench celebrating and cheering on the team, and I think that could be missed at times.

All that being said, the contract didn’t line up what he was providing on the court and trading him was the right move. I’ll always root for him, just wish it would have been in New Orleans!

6/14 from 3. Imagine a Pels game where Graham shoots 14 3 point shots.

I think he’s one of those dudes that just have to have the green light to jack it up.

He clearly lost confidence here and would probably get tight when he missed a few

He had a chance to end it on the last possession in OT, but he ended up firing a random pass at Dieng instead of shooting at the buzzer. So that game is going to a 2nd OT now.

He also hit his 6th three to put them up by 4 with 30 seconds left. This could be a Pels game thread. Obsess over what he does wrong and ignore what he does well.

He’s a player that has to shoot his way into a game. That works when you are a main player and able to take a ton of shots. That’s not what the Pels brought him in for though and he in no way fit what they needed.

He is a high volume 3 point shooter. Without the high volume he has no rhythm and will hurt more than help.

Our medical team and training staff thought he would be better suited to get acclimated to the new environment for a few days. Slightly higher humidity levels, etc.

Gotcha. Despite the fact that Graham was probably the Pelican player I was most annoyed by and frustrated with last year, the beating the guy constantly took in game threads this year made me defend him this year. I guess I’m still doing it.

As bad as Devonte was at times, he always seemed like a good teammate. Wish him well.
