Didn’t see that coming after the Grant signing.

Tried to play around in the trade machine to see if we can get him, and no way we could without giving up BI, CJ, or Zion, and honestly not sure I would give one of them up for Dame at this stage.

We need to be in this. This is a move you dip your toes into the tax for. Ingram, Kira, Dyson and 2 1sts.

Dame and CJ carried Portland to a WCF by themselves, add a Zion, Trey and Herb to that and that’s a championship team.

Player mouthpiece Chris Haynes says the short list is in the East.

Miami and Brooklyn are preferred destinations, sources say.

He won't want to come here so he won't be traded here.

Have you seen Dame's contract? That's not dipping your toes in the tax.

That Grant extension looks pretty awful right now. And they lost Watford as well in the process. He gave them the start of free agency and they thought signing Grant was going to make him want to stay.

He sure wanted Zion there, so he should be willing to come here.

His contract is not much more than Ingram’s new deal will be.

Should be doesn't tell us what he actually wants, which we now know.

Unsurprisingly, New Orleans isn't on that list. Thus, he's not coming here.

He has 5 years left on his deal. Any team should be willing to take the dive. He’s not gonna not play, especially with one of his best friends in CJ

Now I wouldn’t be surprised to hear Portland said ok but they’ll only trade him to the east.

Also wouldn’t be surprised to see them pull the Grant deal before he signs it.

It going to be Miami. Don't see any other team close enough to a championship that will appeal to him. Brooklyn can't be a real destination for him.

Wonder if Dame told them ahead of time. Seems like a dick move to wait until the day after they sign Grant.

He's a perfect fit for the heat, and it seems they cleared space for him w their recent transactions

The Dame-CJ combo hit its ceiling in Portland. I see no reason to think they would go further in the playoffs now that they are a few years older.
