And there will still be some idiots in the fanbase that hate him because he quietly requested a trade in the offseason because he was sick of Shinn's bullshite.
We are nearly 2 decades removed from his last season here and he is still responsible for the most joy this franchise has ever experienced.

Jrue requested a trade.
I don't have a problem with either of them. As long as they don't act like a jackass *cough* AD *cough*.

Pelicans fans that dislike CP3 are retarded.
The consistently best basketball I’ve ever seen in my life was Chris Paul with the hornets. Some of the games I watched him play in person were just unreal. Including his near perfect shooting game to eliminate us.
The guy moved on to greener pastures to try and win a ring. Our team wasn’t serious about winning and put up a white flag trading a premier defensive center in his prime.
It’s a shame we never could pair Paul with a truly elite second piece, no disrespect intended to the very good David West.

It's a shame Paul is so impossible to work with.
He's the kind of person that would perfectly fit into the modern NBA coach's mold.

He had 33pts on 14/14 shooting. How much more perfect could he have been?
