Courtside seats

My son loves the NBA and I would like to get courtside seats for us at a Pels game. I’ve searched all of the ticket sites and the best I can find are Row 2 on the floor. As best I can tell, row AA are the ones that are actually courtside. Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase these? TIA

I’ve only ever been by being invited by someone who had season tickets. I imagine those seats are rarely put on the ticket apps, but I could be wrong. I’ve never searched for some that low before.

Some guy on reddit has courtside seats on one of the ends and posts them up reasonably from time to time but they go FAST

I’ve seen them on seat geek from time to time. Scooped up a pair when we were a tire fire for 300 bucks, lol. Good luck now. They do come up but they are a very pretty penny.

Most courtside seats are corporate. They’re either passed around to employees or clients or used by the owner/suits

There’s 2-4 rows of courtside depending on location with AA always being the very front row. They’re pretty much all sold out, but you can buy some at marked up price on SeatGeek IF they’re available and if you’re feeling motivated.
Some tickets get re-released, but season ticket holders have first dibs. I’ve been trying to get a pair for a month now from my ticket rep, but nothing much has been available in December. I’m hoping for a mid week game to come available in January on one week I’m off.

The people/companies that can afford the AA seats can also afford to just eat them instead of dealing with reselling.

One year when we were especially terrible, I got 2 front row courtside for like $95 a piece on a Tuesday night. Arena was empty but got to see a rookie Giannis and young AD go at it... and got to see OJ Mayo get ejected after punching the frick out of Greg Stiemsma.

You need to call the ticket office for feet on the wood seats

Prepare for $600/seat for Row 2. It’s an incredible experience.

Thanks all for the input, I greatly appreciate it.

Sat next to the visitor bench (the closest seat from the space from the head coach seat), was pretty cool hearing all the shite talking and chirping from the bench.

I’ve gotten row 2 sideline seats every year for the past 6 seasons (minus Covid year), and have never paid more than $150 a seat. Doubt that happens this year though.
At that price, considering all of the free food you get in the courtside club, I always found it to be well worth it. Dinner and a game from 3 feet away for $300 is pretty sweet

We were playing the rockets, and at every break, one of the rockets assistants would go over to the scorers table and get an updated stat sheet to bring over to the bench and (I beleive at the time it was) Mchale. Every time he did that, he would grab two extra copies and give them to my friend and I.
Eric Gordon and AD hit a big shots late and the pels ended up winning by 2
ETA: If you just want to go for the experience of feet on wood, look into pre-season tickets next year. They're much more accessible and MUCH cheaper.

the very first down especially on the sideline is a little unnerving. You can’t really see past your line of sight and you are super exposed. You can’t even stretch your legs out or you will get run over
it’s pretty intense

Coming over in March and was really considering getting some front row … but they were thousands of dollars and just couldn’t justify it.
Have sat first row behind the home bench which was amazing, game before covid and bubble…but yeah… thousands is a bit of a stretch unfortunately =|

I’ve sat courtside twice and it’s unlike any other sport experience I’ve ever had. So much more to the game than you really think.

through others I am kinda friends with one of the grizzlies owners. He sits, every game, in the first seat next to the home bench.
I know for a fact I couldn’t do that every game or even once a month. It’s just too much sensory overload and for me pretty uncomfortable all the way around. Once was enough

My old army buddy has Orlando court side seats. He probably goes to 20-25 games a year. He loves it. I have sat in his seats a few times and I think I could get used to it, lol.
