Yeah, they aren’t going to be cheap.

Row 2 isn’t court side.

There are a few Row 2 seats for the OKC and POR games that I’m coming to that are available and affordable (ish) when I come over… is the experience that much worse in row 2?

It’s a frick tonne cheaper so I’m guessing so…

I bet those is row 2 that caught that Pacers player last night as he dove out of bounds thought it was a cool experience. I do agree with the poster that mentioned row 2 is not courtside. We did the “benchwarmers” experience pregame again yesterday and it is really cool with that vantage point

Call the Pelicans ticket office and tell them you are coming in town for a few games and would like to get in the arena 2 hours before game time and set courtside to watch the players warm up.

seriously?
I just bought some tickets on row 4 behind the Pels bench for the Rockets game in late Feb. bringing my two boys. We will get their early regardless, but would be awesome to be courtside for warmups.

I've sat there plenty of times, I consider row 2 to be "courtside". There's really not much difference, especially to a kid. With a kid I'd prefer to be in row 2 honestly

Absolutely not, I have sat row 2 many times. Its great.

The biggest difference is what courtside lounge you get access to, and the main courtside lounge (as opposed to the uber fancy one), is totally fine.

The one thing I will say is that if you are with a kid, sometimes it may be difficult to see if there is a tall person in row 1, but usually its ok

That’s good advice you’re getting regarding the benchwarmers deal. I’d say they let in around 75 people? I’ve gone each time with permission from the season tickets sales guys. They are pretty strict about who is on “the list” but yesterday I saw the 2 pages the guy was checking off of and there were several names scribbled at the bottom like they were last minute type “approvals.” Have fun
