Come up with an "off the wall" candidate that Griffin may have interviewed

One has to think that out of the 9 candidates, at least one is someone we have never considered at all. Someone totally out of left field, out the box, or inspired that we just wouldn't come up with.
So let's come up with a name that is just out there, not considered on here, etc.
I'll start:
Zeljko Obradovic -- Best Euro League coach of all time, there have been rumors for years that he would come to the NBA, and there were several this offseason that a team or two may be interested, but just whispers. He is an extremely sharp basketball mind, considered the Pop of the Euro league...but he's a big time screamer. Really coaches angry at times and really gets on his players, that would not work as well in the NBA. He has won a TON of titles in Euro.
The flipside of this is that Griffin did NOT want to hire David Blatt, was forced into it, and fired him the first chance he got and hired HIS guy, Lue.
So not sure he wants to take this kind of risk and bring in a guy with a very very very large personality, and someone that would have significant adjustment with dealing with NBA Players.
This one is probably totally inaccurate, I'm just trying to have fun.
So throw out a total wildcard (I know I've done a similar thread before...this one is designed for more out there candidates, not just assistants we hadn't talked about).

This would definitely be out of nowhere. I'd love it, personally.

This would be great for shear comedy purposes, and I would know for a fact that we are going to lose Zion and BI so there would be no anxiety over it.
We could just watch the world burn and have fun.

Phil Jackson.
Watched the presidential debate and then felt young again. Wants to give it one more go around.

Dont think he'd be a real HC candidate yet, but Quentin Richardson as one of the lead assistants

Chauncy Billups. Not exactly an under the radar name, because he's already gotten some consideration for HC this season (Indy). He is Lue's top choice as lead assistant wherever he ends up, and is who Cleveland tried really hard to replace Griff with after he left the Cavs. Those are endorsements that I'm sure mean something to Griff.

Been mentioned a few times on here so not really off the wall.
Painter certainly would be out of nowhere.

Most of the ex players they are interested as coaches have been guard/wing players, roghtfully so. The game has shifted to that. Buy a guy I think they could connect with as far as culture & accountability would be someone like Jarron Collins. They’d have to build a strong, veteran assistant staff around him, but he’s a bright young mind. Being an older generation-type big man is a knock though.

Me. He interviewed me for the job.
I turned it down though. Not enough of an elven blood stipend.
