With 10 games gone in the season, they currently sit at 8th in the Eastern conference. They may not engage the tank just yet by trading Love and Thompson, as a playoff run even as an 8th seed would do wonders for confidence with their young roster. I will try to remember to update this thread every 10 games or so to keep an eye on where their pick would land and if we would recieve it. (Its top 10 protected)

I still think they finish in the bottom 10, but if they are hovering around that at the trade deadline and still playing decent, that ups the value of the pick as a trade asset drastically.
Could pair it with Miller/Moore and get a somewhat decent player.

They havent really had the hardest schedule up till now, but they gave Philly everything they could handle last night and almost beat them. They very well could make the playoffs in a weak East

The East sucks after the first few teams and they have a good coach now. I wouldn't be shocked to see them flirt with a playoff spot.

Beilein is a very good coach. He was always impressive at Michigan.

It will be interesting to see what they do. The new lottery played out exactly like the league wanted last year if the goal was to reduce tanking.

Loss to the Knicks tonight 123-105 -- not good. Knicks came in to this game 3-10. If the Cavs can't beat the crummy teams, they're not going to have a chance to make the playoffs.
