Dude played 8 games with the team.
From his Twitter:
Diallo did the same:

thank you @PelicansNBA coaches and staff u gave me the chance to succeed and get better and I did that... wish the best for you guys next season

Three years ago, I came to New Orleans without knowing a soul. I’m now leaving this beautiful city with many friends and great memories. Thank you for taking in this young man from Mali and showing him love, great food, and amazing music. The city and the great Pelicans organization helped me grow into the man I am today. Thank you so much to my wonderful teammates, my supportive coaches, the fans, and the great city of New Orleans.

Drew Brees: Gratitude. Humility. And respect. The three greatest qualities you can have as a human being.
AD:
Sums up what makes a leader, an inspirational figure, and a man. You wish people like Diallo or Wood, people with those characteristics, were given the physical tools someone like AD petulantly takes for granted and with entitlement.

AD is too busy with Taco Tuesday at Lebron’s house to be bothered with a silly social media post.

It’ll be funny when the honeymoon ends on LeBron and AD.
I’m thinking that will be about a week or two into the season when they lose some games they shouldn’t have and LeBron starts throwing everyone else under the bus.

I give it about 1/2 of the season, AD will regret his decision when he's getting all the blame for LAL being on the outside of the playoff race trying to play catch up
It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he decides to leave and go to NYK next season

I’m hoping and praying that happens on multiple levels.
It helps our future picks and likely causes LeBron to bail on the Lakers.

Just looking at their team, I dont think they are any better than the team he had around him here last season

Considering some of his surrounding talent, it’s worse than the team we put around him in 2017-2018.
Which was apparently a case of us “not putting talent” next to him despite them putting 3/5 of our starting five on that team.

He'll have to play almost perfect for them to win.

I think talent wise they’re better than they were last year (hard to not be), but I think if their supporting cast misses games they’ll struggle bc of no depth. But I’m really banking on Lebron to miss another 10-15 games and AD to miss his 20 games he due for.

Look I want the Lakers to crash and burn like the rest of us, but I really think our dislike for AD is masking just how good he is. For the most part, AD in New Orleans was good enough to fight for an 8 seed. Entering a year where the west is wide open it is realistic to think AD coupled with Lebron could be a top 4 team in the west.
With all that being said, I hope AD and LBJ fail miserably

He has Lebron. That team is already better than AD's last year. On paper the 2018 Pels starting lineup looked pretty good, but that bench was barren and it showed once Payton went down early in the season.

I agree. It is funny that AD has landed in a similar roster situation (a team with no depth) as he was faced with as a Pel. The Lakers are banking on LBJ and AD to play a season without injury and that isn't something you want to bank on with an often injured AD, and a 34 year old superstar approaching 60k minutes

They still have massive problems with roster construction / depth and are balancing the team on two guys who are injury risks.
LeBron has more minutes on him than any player in NBA history and AD is so injury prone it isn’t funny.
I think they do well when those two are both in the lineup but I don’t see their bench holding leads when they go out, nor do I see them able to step up against the dregs of the league like the Suns, Knicks, Hornets, etc, so that LeBron and AD can get load managed.
As a result, AD and LeBron will log way more minutes than they should and one or both will break down as a result.
And when the losses start coming, the press is going to start wondering why they aren’t winning every night. And we all know that LeBron NEVER takes or accepts blame for losing.

I really dont think the west is that wide open
Denver
Utah
LAC
Houston
Portland
Depending on how well Russel and Steph gel, I'd put GS in there as well
It's very possible a 45 win team will not make it to the playoffs in the west, and with having 0 depth in their lineup, AD and Bron will have to play 36+ minutes a night just to TRY to make the playoffs
They will either be injured, or just plum wore out by the time the playoffs roll around, they would be knocked out in the 1st round

By wide open, I mean there is no clear cut favorite to win the West.
I do agree with this

no help next year either
lakers are at 112MM gtd next year, including ADs 28MM player option which he will surely decline for a higher number (they can re sign with bird but his UFA cap hold will tie up space).
they are stuck with Lebron/AD/green/KCP/Bradley/Mcgee/kuzma/rondo for at minimum this year and next. I’m not optimistic

“I’m gonna show them some love on Instagram like all them guys do.”
I think AD might just be a not very smart individual. Great at basketball though

Exactly! And don’t expect LeBron to take any of the blame if they don’t get the first seed in the playoffs and win the championship.
