I know I’ll be charged with homerism on this but man I think Cam Thomas would be the perfect fit for the Pels. He can score at all three levels and has no fear. Yeah his defense isn’t great but he just seems to turn it on with the lights get brighter.

Where does the board think he falls and would you want him in a Pels jersey next season?

If we stay in the top 8 or 9 in the draft, it would be a reach to take him. He’s probably getting picked at earliest late lottery/late teens

In the 20s, great skillset but his shot IQ is going to turn off a lot of scouts.

Maybe if he were a better athlete, I’d like him a bit more. I’m guessing he’ll be a second round pick due to limited upside.

Love to have him if we acquire a pick in the late teens early 20s. He’s a killer.

He’s a guy that if he’s available in the late first I want to buy a pick for. I think he’s going to be a solid nba player.

Agree! It's not just because he can hit long three's either. He's a much smarter player than I first thought. He's very good at reading the defense and adjusting on the fly to attack the correct spot, which is huge for the NBA.

Don't kill me but best case scenario my comparison is CJ McCollum. Similar size, great three point shooting with extended range, can score around the rim and has a mid range game.

He can really score. He will be a first round guy. I think he has a Lou Williams type career. Which is pretty damn good.

He's a late lottery guy with the potential to move up a few spots depending on his performance in the tournament. Like said above he takes some bad shots, but I think he has the potential to be a prolific scorer. He has a knack for getting to the FT line. His FT% is almost 90%, and that is usually an indicator that there is potential for a player to be a solid 3pt shooter.

According to Mr MM, the pick is being traded

Not that surprising, but Griff is looking more and more like Demps v1.5

Don't see him as a lottery pick. More of an 18-25 pick.

Early 20s.

He has the size (6'4") and skillset (shooting) to be at the very least a bench contributor

He could become current Jordan Clarkson.

I like Trendin Watford also if we can get him in the second round.

He could end up being a great 6th man...This team could certainly use a bench cooker. He's a player that will benefit greatly from being able to focus on basketball 100% of the time and play with a team that will reign in his shot selections

He never met a shot he doesn't like, that's for sure.

I dont buy that for one second. There is no absolutely no chance in hell we trade out of THIS draft lottery, especially with the way we've been playing.

MM just likes to rile up the fanbase by speculating the FO is gonna do the exact opposite of what the fanbase wants.

He makes a good point. Adding another 19 year old isn’t ideal.

If it were top 5, then you say that’s fine. But if you’re picking at 12? I see the argument for trading it.

Yes because that is totally something that franchises make a firm decision on half way through a season....and then leak to a disgruntled blogger(or the type of person that would be dumb enough to risk his insider connection by re-leaking to a blogger that is going to use it to grind his axe on Twitter).

The only way I see Cam Thomas jumping into the lottery is if they make a major run in the tournament and he just tears it up.
