Just listening to a couple of Bucks podcasts and they are blaming Jrue for losing this series.

Every fan base is eerily similar to each other. They hate certain players on their team that other teams fans like. They also hate their coaches. So the pels fan base is no different than any other

I mean, he plays passively for a supposed All -Star and unless Middleton and Giannis are both out, refuses to take over a game.

That was always one of his flaws. Tons of talent, but plays like a role player.

I say this with every post we see about needing to fire Willie. But no one can really talk about coaches in detail, it's 90% did you win or lose, that's all that matters.

I love Jrue and will always root for him, but this series, specifically him missing that free throw last night, was absolutely on brand for him.

And that odd TO late in the fourth quarter didn't help matters.

They don't ever want to blame Giannis. I know he is hurt and put up 38/20. But 7tos and missing 13fts is pretty much what lost them the game. It is all based around him being superhuman. Not fair, but he wears the crown for a reason..

The issue is while Giannis had some bad, he did give you the 38/20

Jrue gave you nothing. 4 of 11, and couldn't do a single thing to stop Jimmy on the other side. THere was no good from Jrue.

Jimmy has been Jrues dad for as long as I can remember. I remember Jrue being a monster and Jimmy fricking his world up on the Bulls

Knicks forums are much better right now. Think of the drool Adam Silver has on his mouth right now if can get Knicks to Finals.

If I'm a Bucks fan, I'd be much more frustrated with Giannis last night than I would be with Jrue. I guess they all went to the bathroom when Giannis was shooting free throws? Giannis missed 13 free throws, that's just insane. Being your teams #1 option and going 10/23 from the stripe when your season average is 65% is much worse than your #3 option going 6/8 when your season average is 86%.

I'd be mad about getting upset by the 8th seed too, but I don't think the first place I'd look to be to be at Jrue. Game 4 is a different story though.

I agree in general, just not in the case of Jrue. I never hated Jrue. I rarely hate players that have been considered among our best really. I wasn't a huge fan of Boogie as a dude, but I loved his play prior to the achillies. I didn't start hating AD until Boogie's injury and I didn't start hating Eric Gordon until we found out his heart is in Phoenix, so sad that he's never found love.

But shite players that we overpaid? I've hated most of them immediately upon their being useless to the point of taking up salary and not contributing

Asik and Ajinca I didn't hate until we hired Alvin Gentry, but that's because I knew they couldn't contribute to that style of offense and they were costing us like $13M/year.

Solomon Hill is the only free agent signing that I immediately hated and couldn't understand. Dude had one good series defending Lebron and we gave him starter money. What we needed then was shooting, and we got one of the worst shooting wings we've ever had. Et'waun I liked on signing and continued to like.

Currently I just hate Jaxson Hayes and Garrett Temple. One of whom won't be here next year, and the other should have retired 3 years ago

I like having Temple on the team. The money didn't stop us from making a move. I like having a long term vet as the 14th or 15th guy. Especially one that is seeking a next career in coaching. He should play sparingly and those end of the bench players are usually transient. I don't think it hurts and I'm big into mentorship.

I totally dig what the Heat do with Haslem. So I'd be copying that model. I'd double down and do another beside Temple. Has to help the coaches..

I just don't understand why we can't pay him to do this as an assistant coach and get the salary off our books

ETA: I agree that young teams need veteran players who can help them grow, I just think we have that in CJ

Lots of media calling for jrue to be All nba, best 2 way player, most underrated, etc.

When those accolades come, it means it is time to take off the kid gloves. Everyone loves jrue and takes it easy on him, but his true shooting in the playoffs in Milwaukee is around 48%. That is worst than the most ineffcient versions of Russell Westbrook that we have seen.

A two way player becomes a one way player in the playoffs, and this year he didn’t even do anything on the defensive end either.

jimmy is the frigging man.

if they are done with jrue, trade for zion, even up.
jrue is a very nice guy3 on a championship team.
I know that because it happened.

ps they would not do zion for jrue. jrue is a sure thing. all nba defense 2nd team and two way who once a week gets hot and cooks like JfC.
what would they get in zion?
one dimensional offense, no defense.
net: all star.
I make the deal today.
jrue has two years left as "starter on championship team". for me thats a plan.
I would even bring him off bench if the young ones can merit starter minutes. he could last two extra years off bench.
pels cannot count on zion and if I can get a two way player for him I'm grateful someone else is the hopeful one counting on zion.
