I think we have someone special when it comes to Ingram. We need to hang on to him as long as we can.

Yeah he’s very fricking good. Some people owe me some upvotes after they were very ugly to me with their downvotes

He has been playing at this level since the end of last season. The question becomes, how long into this season do we wait to offer an extension? We can not let him reach free agency because aI totally could see a team like the Knicks offering him the max they could give

I believe we missed the deadline to offer an extension. As far as I know, we will have to wait until he is a restricted free agent to get a contract going

Edit: he will be restricted, so we can match any offer than comes his way

He can defend too. Long wingspan.

You’re probably right, but...

This. If he keeps playing at 90% of the way he has been, the Pels will offer him a max deal. Ingram can only get out of a Pels max offer by signing his qualifying offer (a one year, $9.5m deal), which, to my knowledge, no player has ever done.

Noel turned down a big extension for a qo and it’s turned out horrible for him. Klutch really screwed him.

I believe he meant no player has ever turned down a max contract to sign the QO.

There's a quote where BI says he, his agent, and Griff talk and the conversations are good.

I bet it's "stay healthy and I got your max next summer"

I was wrong about BI. I thought he was a huge drop off from Tatum. He is everything we have ever needed at the wing.

Porzingas
Porzingod talked about accepting the QO, but he ended up signing a 5 year max contract with the Mavs instead.
