According to Woj the gap on contract negotiations are to wide for Horford, and hes planning to leave in free agency..

If it wouldnt be for his age, he would be perfect next to Zion (and yes Horford is a PERFECT fit)

On another note, Boston may end up as a lottery team next season

We should offer him the chance to prove himself on a 1 yr basis

He just turned down $30M for a year.

He's wanting 3+ years and big coin. No point in even considering.

He's looking for a 4 year deal, which giving his age, is not wise for us to hand out to him

I'm pretty sure he will be looking to get 15-20 a year

I don’t see anyone doing that unless someone needs to burn salary and is in rebuild

What difference a season makes.

A few seasons ago there weren't many non-Warriors teams you would want to have control of their roster and war chest.

But Ainge was like Gollum with his assets and in doing so they have passed on Kawhi, George, and now lost Horford and Irving.

I really like Tatum, but if you told me three years ago Ainge's final form after all the Nets picks were Tatum/Brown/Hayword, I would have not believed you.

I got ya. I was thinking it was part of the 3 year offer.

I like Horford, but not so sure that was the smartest decision.

He wants a longer term deal for less per year..

If I had to guess hes hoping if he takes a little payout this season, he will make more on the back end

Horford be like, 10 teams have big money for me.

He will end up getting 3yrs and prob 25 yr

Clippers can use him, NYK can use him, nets can use him, ATL can use him.

we can use him, but not for that. He would be our ideal 5. MO

I only wish. That would be so hilarious.

This makes Ainge look horrible imo currently.
